I am really happy that in the past few weeks, I was able to go outside and visit other places too and not just confine myself in my room. Although I love my room so much, I also know that going outside to get some fresh air and see the changes outside is also good for my health, not just physically but also mentally. And although I spent so much with those every walk outside because what is that walk without food tripping, right? Even if it's like that, the most important thing is that I enjoyed, we enjoyed it and will definitely do it again with my Mama as my companion, like always.
A Park is really the perfect place if you want to unwind and have a relaxing walk. Seeing people everywhere like this is kind of a hassle because, as you all know, I really hate crowded places, but thanks to my cap and facemask, I was able to endure all of my anxiety because I knew that my face was covered. The only problem is that I have to ask Mama to eat somewhere, preferably without a single person. It's hard to find that kind of place here, but if it's just with a child, then I'm all good. Am I weird for having that preference? I think I am, huh?
As long as I get to enjoy this "Gala" of us, I don't care about what people will say.
Yesterday was Bansud's 64th Founding anniversary, and of course, there were programs. Actually, that started on July 1 with different kinds of events, games, and entertainment. But yesterday was the main Event. Of course we attended that main event, and I am on my usual get-up and like, always with my facemask and cap. Going there makes me feel like some kind of unknown species, maybe because they are wondering why I am wearing my facemask. I have to wear it because that is like protection. I feel people's eyes on me, and it's really uncomfortable. But I am good with ignoring others, so I just did that.
By the way, we arrived at the venue earlier because Mama is nagging me that we should get there earlier so we don't miss the other events. We are so early that some of the people are just setting up the place. And just to ease the boredom of waiting, we decided to take a walk and take some snaps. There are no people yet on this side of that park, but on the other side, they are flocking in there while enjoying different kinds of street foods from different vendors.
Even we got tempted to buy it, and so we satisfied our craving by buying it. It's too early, and Mama is saying that we will eat it later if we buy it now. But then again, our stomachs win, and so here it is, lol. Fried Spinach and hamburgers, we also bought Buko Shake again but couldn't take a picture of it. The batter for that fried spinach is really good. And it goes well with the mayo and ketchup combination as a dip.
So yeah, aside from walking around together to see where our feet bring us, this is always our kind of family bonding on every occasion, food tripping, strolling around and shopping. It'll be lovely if my two oldies (Aunties) can come with us, but they really can't, and they are not that fond of this kind of happening. It'll be lovely too to share this kind of food with them, but it's okay, I know the time will come when we can all eat out like this while having a good time outside.
Alrighty, now we're done stuffing our stomachs. It's time for the main events.
Here's the venue, still setting up with a lot of those chairs. There is also a table for those who bring food and drinks. It's a cool setup with that little stage in front of the Philippine Flag. They always setup everything here in front of the Municipal Hall, so you can see that big building at the back, that's our Bansud Municipal Hall, yes.
And here's more: this tent here was for those people in different barangays, it is Barangay Night too, so representatives from every Barangay will be here too, just to have fun and as a celebration of founding Bansud.
The party started with the introduction from this band called "Banda ni Sadam." They are a rock band, I think, just based on the voice and how they play. I really like the vocalist's voice. His voice has that voice that can fill the whole place. They play for just half an hour, and that's also the time when people start arriving at the venue.
Some are the students that just got out of university and are spending their precious time here relaxing. After a tiring day of thinking and doing some academic studies, this place is the perfect venue for relaxing. With the vendors everywhere, they can find anything here, it's such a cool place.
And this is the next band that sings after the band Banda ni Sadam, the "HaraNajeeb). This is also one awesome band. I love how they jam on three instruments, the piano and saxophone, with a very cool voice from the Vocalist. They sing a lot of songs and sing for more than an hour. And it is enjoyable because they sing different kinds of songs, from modern to oldies, which people really love. I can't help myself from humming while listening to them sing.
And as the night went on, more people were flooding the place. And that's also when our beloved Mayor Morada arrived. We also had the chance to talk, wishing us to enjoy the night, and we really did, making it one of the best nights with Mama.
And as we spend more time in here, the more hungry I get because of those people munching different kinds of food, and that makes me feel hungry, again, lol. Even though it's not an hour yet since I last had our snacks, lol. I didn't have my dinner before we went there, so I just felt hungry, and that is why I decided to buy this Shawarma with Java Rice. I love this different brand of shawarma. I love the sweetness of its taste, unlike what we had before, which was really salty. This one is very tasty too, I love the rice, the cucumber, and the onions on it, the crunchiness with the cucumber is just too good, it goes well with the rice and the meat, and there's a little kick for the spiciness.
After eating, we went back near the stage, where a new band was singing. This is also the start of a party night where people are dancing while the singer is singing. They sing old songs that will really make you move, and I just love them. I am too shy to even join in on the dance floor, so I just leave it to the people here.
Look at them having the best night of their lives. I can see a lot of old people here, and I am very happy that even they had the chance to enjoy this kind of celebration. This is their time to enjoy it with their loved ones.
Let me drop this link while people are dancing to the awesome song that this singer here is singing.
What an amazing night!
