"I remember this!" That's what I said upon seeing this bottle with a little house in it on top of Mama's thing. I've been looking for this for so long, but I don't know where my mommy put it. Although I know it is just somewhere in the storage house, the thing is, there are so many items in that house that just thinking that I have to go through them all is enough to make me back out. Talk about being lazy! But I am so happy that I finally found it again, although it was my Mama who found and cleaned it.
Yep, she had to clean it because, according to her, it was full of dirt when she found it. My guess is that maybe because that place was flooded before and maybe this one accidentally slipped on its box, it resulted in that. I am not sure, but the most important thing is that I finally found it (thank you, Mamita, lol). What's that thing that I found? I'm about to share it... And tadaaaaa!
It is maybe not that well crafted, but I'm sure the creator of this beautiful thing here poured a lot of sweat just to make it and the effort to design it. Isn't it pretty?
I will never forget this thing because I used to look at it every day in my life as a young kid. You see, to reach our bed in our old house, I have to pass by that little shelf of Mom's where all of her video tapes and other things were held. She has a lot of things in there, and this one was included.
As for the question, where did she get it and who's the artist, I have no idea because she just bought it somewhere. She like the design so she get it.
I was young back then and curious about everything. Whenever I have to go up the stairs in our room, I have to stop for a minute in the middle of the stairs just to stare at this thing. I have so many questions as to how they did this. How did they fit that little house in there? Did they use magic or any witchcraft just to fit this inside that little bottle? Those kinds of questions, now that I think about it, it is really ridiculous, lol. I mean, I am just a kid, so I don't really have the capability to analyze things.
It is unbelievable but really amazing, I mean how? Right? What's inside my head during that time was just "To play" and "to eat" that's it. And to feel fascinated to this kind of thing, on how they built this is just normal. But really, I am always looking for an answer to what kind of magic they apply on it. Having that kind of magic is surely a blessing. I sm thinking about this before without knowing that there are actually a lot of ways just to put this inside a bottle, lol.
I think I saw a short video on facebook where they cut a bottle. For sure they also do that to this one and then put a super sticky glue or whatever they call it to attach it again and to make it look like this. That little stand there is maybe created for anyone not to notice the cut? Who knows right.
As for the little house inside or a "Bahay Kubo" in Pilipino terms, I think it was made out of cardboard paper. The typical house way before I was born, a simple design but really a perfect house to some. This is the kind of house my Parents had before. But then it was affected with the typhoon that is why it was replaced with a new one. Although it is still a simple house made in a plywood, but a house is a house, lol.
This design is also like those house built closer to the sea. With the tall coconut tree everywhere and their boat on the side of their house. Truly a beautiful creation.
People's creativity are SUPERB! They can create beautiful thing from anything. Wish I have skills like that. But well, I can only appreciate those arts. I love arts even though I have no skills on it. And with those beautiful arts, we can also create a great memories with it. Like this one, it is someone's design and creativity and I so love it!
