I used to be a daily commuter pre-pandemic and I can say public transportation has greatly improved. At least from where I live which is near EDSA. The Carousel Bus is sooo efficient and the trains aren't as full-packed as before. For comparison, a normal weekday car ride from my place to the office is around 45min but can be commuted via bus for just around 20min (excluding the additional walk to office which may be 15min).
Motorcycle taxis is also another efficient way to transport individuals compared to the very pricey Grabcars and unreliable taxis. I take Angkas/MoveIt only during small trips though (less than ~5km). I think it gets risky if it's for long drives as tendency for the driver is to rush the ride.
