Hola a todos! Próspero Año Nuevo!
I hope everyone is enjoying this holidays together with your loved ones, family, relatives or friends! This time I want to share with you all our Christmas happenings before the year comes to end!
Last Christmas, we celebrated at the church, and we truly enjoyed the day together with our family, relatives, churchmates and neighbors. The weather is beautiful! Many people attended the mass, and before it ended, we shared lunch together at the church since we prepared and cooked the food there. Our meal included pancit and pork adobo, of course rice because here in Philippines Rice is life! Lol!
After lunch, we rested for a while and the parlor games began. Everyone participated, may it be children, young adults, parents, and even the elderly. When the games were over, prizes and stuffed toys were distributed to all the children aged 0–10 years old. They all fall inline and my three kids were included and they are so happy!
My eldest received a red stuffed toy, my youngest got a very cute one, and my only daughter was lucky one to receive a brown stuffed toy almost as big as she is! She was extremely happy and very lucky because the toys were distributed through a raffle system. Each stuffed toy had a number, and whatever number you picked determined the toy you received. Truly, she was blessed, and of course, very joyful. When she received it she immediately hug the teddy bear!
All the children received stuffed toys, and you could really see the happiness on their faces. We are very thankful to those who donated the toys because they truly brought joy to the kids that they almost forgot their gift! 😅
After all the toys and prizes were given out, special gifts and exchange gifts were awarded to individual. The children were excited to open their presents, but I let my kids open theirs at home. They were overjoyed because they received the gifts they had been wishing for especially my son, who received the remote-control race car he really wanted.
Seeing their faces full of happiness reminded me of my own childhood, because that was exactly how I felt whenever I received gifts back then and when Christmas come. It was heartwarming to witness their joy, and I hope that the gifts we shared also made others happy.
That’s how our Christmas celebration went, and I hope you also enjoyed last Christmas with your family, friends and relatives. That’s all for today! I wish you all a Happy and Blessed New Year. Please stay safe and keep smiling!
Mabuhay! 🎄✨
