"The greatest treasures are those invisible to the eye but found by the heart."- Judy Garland
Hello, my dear Hivers!
How are you today? Hope you're doing great! My greetings to one and all, HAPPY NEW YEAR! We did great for the year 2022 and I know we can make it for the next other years. I know it because still we're here standing strong, there were trials encountered but still we overcome them with God's grace and guidance.
Anyways, let me share with you my greatest treasures in life that I will forever be grateful that God had given to me, my two lovely kids. I don't have much money but seeing my two kids and my supportive and lovable husband, I consider them my greatest treasures in life.
I am lucky to have a happy and healthy family and I considered it a blessing from God.
My daughter and son have a 3 years gap in their age. I see them buddy in all things sometimes they had something argued but still, in a minute they'll get back again and play again.
We, parents, always give them life lessons and advice to make them grow with God's faith and fears. We give them the best they should have and that they will be brought while they grow and they shared it forward to others or with their future families.
I remembered my late mother, sorry I talked more often about my mother because she gave me the best things in life ( life lessons and experience), she passed away at an early age but she gave me the life lessons that I should have. I will forever be grateful that I grew up according to what she wanted me to be. That's what I wanted to give to my kids as well.
This is us together with my nephew and his name is Jerald. They were the same age as my daughter.
When they were still young, I mean younger than today, I observed that my daughter was so sweet sister to her brother. She used to play with him and sometimes she sang a song while she played with her brother. How sweet, right?
They were also eating buddies especially when cakes and ice cream were there. I usually bought cake and ice cream for every birthday celebration for my kids because these could make them happy and they have fun while eating it. Sometimes I bought ice cream in a cone or a small tub (1 liter ). They enjoyed eating those without minding the chocolates on their faces.
When they had their first day of school, I wasn't forgot to get pictures of them. We were so proud then as parents and then I realized that this is their first day of school, there are many more challenges that they will experience and I hope they will overcome them all. That's what parents always prayed, right?
We always remind them of the challenges they may be experiencing along the way as they grow older and we always told them to be strong and always ask for the assistance of God. We keep them near to God because God's words are the Spirit and the Life.
I consider them my greatest treasures because they are the reasons why I live and keep on facing the challenges of life. They made me strong and brave as well. They are the ones who strengthen and persevere to continue my life. I always asked and prayed to God for His grace and guidance for the welfare and the best of my family.
That's all for now my dear Hivers. Hoping this blog inspired and give you thoughts on how lucky and grateful we are for our family. Thank you, everyone and God bless us always.
