Hi guys! It is me, Teresa š. How was your Holy week and where did you guys spent your long weekend? Is there any leftover Benignit? Benegnet? Binegnet? in your area? HAHAHA š Well in my case, I spent my long weekend at our lovely province in Bohol and luckily I was able to ate the āseasonal / favorite foodā during Holy week, the āBENIGNET / BENEGNET / BINIGNIT / BINEGNETā Iām really confused as to whatās the proper spelling for this one. Hahaha! Comment down below if you know and kindly include its English term too cause honestly, I have no idea. Hahahuhu! Hopefully, you guys enjoyed your long weekend like I did š.
Anyway, it has been awhile since I posted a blog so for todayās vedyow š¬, I will be sharing our first-ever local trip, to Bantayan Island with my favorite headache / reliever, my constant. š
A little background about our relationship is that we went to the same school during college in Bohol. I took up Business Administration (BSBA-FM) while he took Information Technology (BS-IT). It was in the middle of 2nd semester in my second year while he is a third year student when we got to know each other but WITHOUT the face to face interaction. It all started with a single wrong sent message. Heās an active college officer back when we were in college. One time, he borrowed the phone of my classmate whoās also a college officer and asked for a number of another college officer whose name is also, āTERESAā (āwhat a beautiful, lovely and COMMON nameā HAHAHA) but unfortunately, mistakenly, unexpectedly and other -ly he texted the wrong Teresa. BUT, he luckily found his āthe oneā Teresa (uwu) HAHAHA weeew š! So, yeah thatās how we collided. We started as a text mate. The weird and funny thing about us is that we havenāt seen each other for almost a month right after knowing each other thru text. We should often see each other in campus since our school is not even that big, but we havenāt. HAHAHAHA! Anyway to make the story short, he courted me when Iām in my Third year college and finally said yes right after he graduated.
P.S. I LOVE MY NAME EVEN THOUGH ITāS VERY COMMON, BUT I STILL LOVE IT VERY MUCH
So, suddenly Iām in love with a stranger. I canāt believe (s)heās mine. āFresh Eyes by Andy Grammer
PLANNING
Travelling either local or international is everyoneās dream. They said that travelling together will let you know more of yourself or even as a couple or as an individual travelling alone. Honestly, weāve been planning or wanting for this since 2019 after we both got a job. But because of other priorities and here comes the pandemic, we decided to just set this aside. Itās really been a while; imagine, itās been 3 years already (leftover-over-over travel HAHAHA). Truly life is full of surprises and unexpected things. But, the fact that we still believe that we will be able to travel one day remained within us, never disappeared, itās just a matter of when. We never rush things, he never rushes things and thatās one thing that Iām very proud of. Meeting someone whoās very considerate and respect all my decisions in life; not just as her girlfriend but also as a daughter and as women.
Last April 2022, finally, finally and finally weāve got a chance to finally finally finally travel together. This travel was supposed to be our 4th anniversary celebration but since our actual anniversary date was a working day, we decided to advance the celebration because --- I donāt have VL (vacation leave) at work yet. HAHAHA! But yeah, we cannot risk our work days, still priorities over wants. He need money, I need money, we need money. HAHAHA! The reasons why we chose Bantayan Island are (1) because we both love beach even though Iām not that good at swimming (pacute-cute lang, ganern) HAHAHA! (2) I kept seeing FB posts of how beautiful Bantayan is and (3) because of the movie āCamp Sawiā.
Like what Iāve said earlier, weāve been planning or wanting to visit this place since then but we never got the chance to prepare because we really donāt know when we will be able to visit the place. So, the proper planning or preparation started in the middle / end of February this year. When one of my boyfriendās colleagues visited Bantayan, we asked reviews and we were referred to a tour guide with a promo package (3 days and 3 nights). At first, Iām in doubt because Jessa suggested that itās better if we go there without a tour guide so we can take much of our time and enjoy the place. Seeing her blog (Part 1 and Part 2) the place is so refreshing and too beautiful for us not to enjoy and try it out. So now we got 2 options, either we avail the promo package or not --- which we think weāll be having a little difficulty since we both are new to the place. We end up choosing the option 1 and below is the itinerary.
Itās quite late so thatās all for today, will be posting another episode for our first day in Bantayan so watch ut guys. Hope you enjoy reading! Keep safe and God Bless! š
THE GOOD B.I. is a group of 4 employees-friends from Cebu City wanting to share their adventures and random ideas with everyone. The groupās future stories to tell will be so vast and diverse. Imagine having four brains to share different ideas and might end up in a disagreement. A feat that others might be so fearful to do, but they believe that it is what will make their posts more exceptional and remarkable.
