Here in Bogo City, we’re thankful that we were not severely affected. The typhoon brought powerful winds that knocked down some bamboo and banana trees, but thankfully, no major damage or injuries happened in our area. For that, we are truly grateful.
However, our hearts go out to those who suffered from flooding and destruction in other parts of Cebu, including Cebu City, Mandaue, Liloan, and Danao. We can only imagine the difficulty they are going through, and we continue to pray for their recovery and safety.
Now, as we brace for the incoming Super Typhoon Uwan, let’s all stay alert and pray that it brings minimal damage. May everyone — especially our brothers and sisters in Luzon — remain safe and protected.
No matter how many storms come our way, the Filipino spirit remains unshaken.
Stay safe, everyone.
