I humbly tried to process this photo to capture the best part of its essence and be able to make it more suitable for a publication that I made -later you will see the details- I show you a simple step by step of this whole process.
ORIGINAL PHOTO
This is a photo that my dad took more than 40 years ago, it is my mom carrying my older sister. Here I show you what the original photo is like so that you can see the changes that I got in the final art.
CLEANING BACKGROUND
With the IbisPaint program, delete the entire background with the "eraser" tool, this will allow me to apply effects and add new backgrounds without affecting the original image or causing extra work.
ADDING DETAILS
While removing the background, I made the mistake of removing too much hair and had to take the "thick hair" brush tool and redo the stroke. He selected the transparent background option and I proceed to save the image as a transparent **.PNG**.
FILTERS & EFFECTS
I take the image and upload it to the Picsart program, where he applied "Shades of Gray", within the *Effects* section offered by this program and save the image so that I can open it with the Ibispaint program again, but on an empty canvas.
I decided to work on this image because I needed a significant cover for a Mother's Day publication.
So I put it in the size that I use for the covers and added a simple background that would make the main image stand out.

I chose these last two images because they had a good percentage of use of lines when applying the filter that I had in mind to use, in addition to the intention of the maternal feeling.
