    For my non-military peeps, during recruit training a trainee will be posted on fire watch duty in the squadbay and it looks like this one didn't have any idea of the impending mayhem likely because he had what we call "tunnel vision".

    I am reminded of an event during my time in receiving that is before being assigned a platoon where a recruit was caught daydreaming with his mouth ajar. The resulting insult would be forever etched in my memory.

You look like you waiting for it to rain dicks out of the sky!

    Honorable mention for best insults I heard during recruit training was "You should have been a stain on your mother's pillow." The DIs truly were artists in breaking a person down.

    This was inspired by a post on the /r/usmc subreddit. Perhaps I'll send them a link and see if they are interested in posting that sort of content on Hive. 👌
