| Luego la selección venezolana le tocaría viajar y enfrentarse a la selección de Perú en la ciudad de Lima. | El día de hoy se jugó el último partido de la triple fecha para la selección nacional venezolana de fútbol contra Paraguay en el estadio “defensores del Chaco”. Correspondiente a las eliminatorias del mundial de Qatar, la vinotinto estaba obligada a ganar para mantener alguna posible opción que le permitiera seguir teniendo una esperanza de clasificar al mundial de Qatar, el equipo paraguayo venia de sacar un empate ante la selección colombiana, lo que avizoraba que el encuentro no sería nada fácil para el conjunto venezolano que ya tenía 2 derrotas seguidas y con problemas en el desarrollo de un fútbol que pudiera ser competitivo salvo algunos destellos de individualidades que no les había servido de mucho en los encuentros anteriores. | Today was the last match of the triple date for the Venezuelan national soccer team against Paraguay at the "defensores del Chaco" stadium.
