Entrenamiento de Caminata de Montaña Toquito II y I - 9.55K

It’s worth noting that I couldn’t train at the weekend because of the rain, and I was also fully occupied with my son’s football; yesterday, as I had the day off, I took the opportunity to resume my walking training; this time I decided to take the new route up El Toquito II hill. The sun was quite strong, so I set off at 4.40 am, heading up Doctor Morales Street to cross through the centre of Villa de Cura, and at the end of that street, passing the roundabout, I reached the community of El Toquito.

Asimismo, comenzó el ascenso por esta localidad, pasando los primeros 2K al final de calle en un tiempo de 19 minutos, para iniciar el recorrido por la parte que llaman El Country y iniciar la subida por esta carretera, el calor estaba algo fuerte, a pesar de que en estos días había llovido, después la parte baja hasta la cima de la montaña hay 1.4K, pero desviandose de la carretera, desde la cima podemos ver las montañas que están frente a la pista y la comunidad de El Toquito, con una distancia de 4K en un tiempo de 56 minutos.

I also began the climb through this village, covering the first 2 km to the end of the street in 19 minutes, before setting off along the stretch known as El Country and starting the ascent up this road. It was quite hot, even though it had rained recently. From there, it is 1.4 km to the top of the mountain, but veering off the road, from the summit we can see the mountains facing the track and the community of El Toquito, a distance of 4 km covered in 56 minutes.

Después, me regresé para bajar por otro lado, y salir por detrás de la pista de atletismo, recorriendo una distancia 5 21K en 1 hora con 18 minutos, como tenía pensado hacer una mayor distancia, decidí subir el cerro de El Toquito I, pero de lado contrario, el ascenso es un poco fuerte pero logré cumplir una mayor distancia,pero no llegué al final en la punta de la montaña y descendí para llegar a nuevamente a la comunidad de El Toquito.

Luego pase por esta comunidad y luego me desvíe hacia el sector de La Represa, para pasar por frente de el liceo y llegar al centro de Villa de Cura, con una distancia de 9.55K, con desnivel positivo de 486 m y un desnivel máximo de 841 m, con un tiempo d 2 horas 12 minutos, registrado en la aplicación Strava.

I then passed through this neighbourhood and turned off towards the La Represa area, running past the secondary school to reach the centre of Villa de Cura. The route covered a distance of 9.55 km, with an elevation gain of 486 m and a maximum elevation of 841 m, and took 2 hours and 12 minutes, as recorded on the Strava app.
