¡Hola! ¡Hola!

My dear friends I greet you hoping that your week is filled with productivity, prosperity, peace and love.
In this community, where deprives the love for sport and the benefits it brings to practice it for our lives, we share the love for any discipline that is practiced by the preference and possibilities of each one. Now, doing sports for a good cause and helping others when they need us the most, is something that makes me doubly happy and was what motivated me to participate in this walk for life.

Currently in my family we are going through some health situations that have us busy collecting money to be able to cover the expenses of my sister-in-law's operation. In this sense, we are holding raffles, asking for contributions, we even created a GoFundme for the same purpose.
My sister-in-law is a very athletic woman, she has been going to the gym, doing crossfit and pursuing a healthy lifestyle. That's why her colleagues in the sports discipline came up with the idea of doing this walk to raise money to continue helping the cause of the operation that needs to be done urgently.
![English version]I am (was) not at all sporty; in fact, I was a little reluctant to attend the event because I knew it was a sporting activity in which I do not participate. However, the feeling of doing something and being present accompanying my niece, encouraged me to go.
The activity started at 7:00 a.m.; I loved that because as punctual as we are in this country, they say one hour and it starts 3 hours later. I understood that punctuality is due to the discipline that athletes have because they are very committed to the schedule, and another factor is that the sun and heat at this time is inclement, so you must take advantage of natural light but it must be very early to enjoy without having health problems; you know, elderly people like me who can not be exposed to high temperatures😰😆😰😆.

The site chosen was El Morro hill. It is an iconic place par excellence for sports or this type of activities. I saw many people doing sports in one way or another (walking, running, cycling) and even some who were already on their way back; I thought: “And at what time do these people get up?”😆 What I was convinced is that people are concerned about having a healthier lifestyle and with better quality.
Warming up was an essential part, because as athletes we are prone to have some kind of muscle tears or “pulls” if we go for a walk without doing this beforehand. There is a reason for everything and the kids respected this moment.
It is also noteworthy, that every so often they would stop to do a particular exercise. Obviously, I skipped this step because I would not have finished the circuit. In that sense, I took the opportunity to take pictures and document the moment😎.
¿Cómo me sentí?
![English version]How did I feel?
I can't lie; uncertainty consumed me because it was my first time doing something like that, first time going to that place. I saw people walking and doing the exercise and I was just thinking or focused on surviving and not making a show of falling or giving me some kind of syncope🙃.
I can say that thanks to the public speaking classes I teach, I have learned to breathe and although I didn't know I could use it in the sport, it was what helped me to calm down and be able to enjoy the path at my pace but without losing the pace that the other participants were leading. the friendratifies it in his routines too, that breathing is essential for any sport that is practiced.

The circuit was becoming more and more demanding and it was time to climb or climb to another steeper terrain, that is, the real hill since what we had walked was like the edge:

In the end, we reached the top of the hill. It was worth the effort! I loved it and I congratulated myself because I resisted, I did not complain, I focused on following instructions and above all I enjoyed the panorama, the view, sharing with the young people, it was a magical moment:

The activity was a success. About 40 people participated, so in addition to sharing a different day, they collaborated with a good cause that we never lost focus of what we were doing and why we were there.
El Morro is a wonderful place, it is for enjoyment and recreation, as well as for sports. I saw many crossfit clubs also doing their routines, so I conclude that people are moving towards healthy living.
¿Lo volvería a hacer?

Would I do it again
Honestly no. I was diagnosed with knee problems due to osteoarthritis, so this activity caused inflammation in one of my knees. Besides, the uphill, downhill, circuit, sun, heat, it's not my thing. I am focused on other activities that I will soon share with you, but I congratulate all of you who are doing something for your body and wellbeing, CONGRATULATIONS!
