El último fin de semana hubo actividad en el deporte motor, la Fórmula 1, la categoría reina del automovilismo no tuvo carrera, pero MotoGP si tuvo su Gran premio de Alemania, mientras que la serie de la copa NASCAR corrió por segundo semana consecutiva en un circuito, en esta oportunidad el trazado técnico de Sonoma. En el MotoGP dominó Marc Márquez, aunque su hermano Alex le dio emoción al fin de semana de competencia. Por otro lado, Van Gisbergen vence en NASCAR, no dejando para nadie en cuento a circuito se refiere.
Marc Márquez no está dejando para nadie en esta temporada, demostrando que Sachsenring es su jardín personal, un circuito alemán donde históricamente le ha sido favorable al piloto de Cervera. Este es un circuito complicado, donde el caos reinó tras un total de diez caídas en el evento principal, por lo que este trazado es muy complicado. Pero Marc es el rey de la pista, logrando un total de nueve triunfos en MotoGP, además de una victoria 125cc y 2 en Moto2, sumando un total de 12 triunfo en el circuito alemán de Sachsenring.

En lo personal no tenía dudas que el mayor de los Márquez arrasaría, tan solo una caída o la lluvia podría cambiar las cosas y aunque el agua se hizo presente en el sprint, no cambio nada para el piloto de Ducati quien amplia aún más su ventaja en el campeonato, más allá de su hermano de hacer lo posible por esta allí.
Más allá de las dudas que se han suscitado en el paddock de la categoría y de algunos fanáticos, sobre que Alex Márquez no le quiere dar pelea a su hermano, pero la realidad es que Sachsenring es otra cosa, dándole el triunfo 69 en la categoría reina del motociclismo. Marc no dejó dudas en el fin de semana, lideró las prácticas libres a excepción de la PR, logró la pole, y obtuvo el triunfo en ambas carrera. El sábado fue un poco más complicado, no tuvo una buena partida, pero logró remontar hasta la punta, quiso llevarse la victoria y más con el colchón que posee en el campeonato. Con el piso mojado, el piloto de Ducati (Marc) remontó desde la quinta posición, quedando en lo más alto del podio, por delante de M. Bezzecchi a casi un segundo y a más de cuatro segundo, Fabio Quartararo, para cerrar el podio de vencedores de la carrera sprint.

Marc Márquez is not letting anyone down this season, proving that Sachsenring is his personal garden, a German circuit where it has historically been favourable to the Cervera rider. This is a tricky circuit, where chaos reigned after a total of ten crashes in the main event, so this track is very complicated. But Marc is the king of the track, taking a total of nine wins in MotoGP, plus one 125cc and two in Moto2, for a total of 12 wins at the German circuit of Sachsenring.
The weekend was also a special one for Marc Márquez, as he was about to contest his 200th Grand Prix in his MotoGP World Championship history and what better way to achieve it than with a masterful performance, on a stage that is one of his best on the calendar. Personally I had no doubt that the elder Marquez would sweep the race, only a crash or rain could change things and although the water was present in the sprint, it did not change anything for the Ducati rider who further extends his lead in the championship, beyond his brother to do his best for this there.

Un fin de semana complicado para el italiano dos veces campeón de MotoGP. El domingo dio un salto, con condiciones de piso seco, terminó tercero, pero a más de siete segundos del ganador. Si bien es una mejora para Pecco, me sigue sorprendiendo su nivel esta temporada, cada vez con más dudas de que sucede, pues no puedo creer que se le haya olvidado correr de un año a otro. Lo que sí es seguro el noveno campeón de Marc Márquez, con una temporada superlativo, confirmándolo en el Gran premio de Alemania en Sachsenring.

The challenge for this driver is on ovals, which is not at all his forte and this will be somewhat complicated for the playoffs, as the first round is all ovals, so I see it unlikely to advance to the round of 12. This does not detract from the merits of the New Zealand driver, simply his potential is in mixed circuits such as the ROVAL and permanent tracks like Sonoma.
