Desde que la selección argentina sub-23 consiguió el pasaje a Francia ganándole en la última fecha del cuadrangular definitorio a Brasil, comenzó la especulación sobre la presencia de la dupla Messi y Di María en los juegos olímpicos a disputarse en París en el mes de julio de este año.
Todos nos ilusionamos, sería una despedida extraordinaria, principalmente para el querido "fideo" Di María que ya ha anunciado su decisión de dejar la selección y seguramente pronto también el fútbol en su totalidad, aunque su vigencia se refrenda cada semana en su actual equipo el Benfica de Portugal, justamente esta última fecha de la Europa League Ángel ha conquistado los dos goles con que su equipo se impuso ante el Toulouse FC.
Sin embargo, es difícil que Messi participe de los juegos, hay varias consideraciones de peso que parecen en lo previo inclinar la balanza hacia su desistimiento.
