En el fútbol, en el deporte y porque no, en la vida misma, hay una expresión un tanto chocante que dice: "pecho frio" haciendo alusión a que una persona o equipo en los momentos determinantes no sacan la casta para imponerse y conseguir un resultado. Digo esto, y es raro que comience de esta manera, porque para mi uno de los equipos más pechos frios que he visto jugar es el Atlético de Madrid. Caen eliminados en Champions por el Madrid, caen eliminados en esta copa del Rey por el Barcelona y están perdiendo la batalla por el liderato de la Liga contra, casualmente, estos dos equipos. El día de ayer se disputó el partido de vuelta en el Metropolitano cuya eliminatoria estaba empatada 4-4 después de aquel frenético encuentro de ida en Barcelona.

En los 45 minutos del complemento salieron con más ganas que fútbol, se les vio el ánimo un poco más arriba y con más intenciones de buscar el empate pero nada de esto les bastó. Ya lo he comentado pero la mejora del Barcelona con Flick es impresionante, jugadores que antes no rendían en lo absoluto ahora son pilares, dígase Frenkie de Jong, Iñigo Martínez, el mismo Raphinha, todos ellos han evolucionado para que el juego culé sea mucho más efectivo y dinámico. El 26 de abril en Sevilla se jugará esta final en donde ambos buscarán el primer título de la temporada con la mira en el posible triplete.
