Hello friends, on Saturday I had a very nice memory when I saw Barcelona draw against Rayo Vallecano, although the start of the season was not good and the new signings did not work out, which caused the fans to be upset, I remembered that The Barça that practically made me love football. It all started in 2015, I was approximately 8-9 years old, I was a normal child, but a passion for this sport was born within me, one of the triggers was Barcelona this year, which would change my life in many aspects . I remember that one day when I came back from school I turned on the TV and there was a football game on, seeing that it was Barcelona, I watched the game and suddenly a play by the Uruguayan Luis Suárez impressed me like never before, that Once the Catalans won 4-0 against Apoel and I fell in love with their game. Here I would begin to follow the entire trajectory of Barça during the season, enjoying the football that these athletes gave me, who over time would become my idols. I followed every game of the Champions League, PSG, Manchester City, Bayern Munich... they were very strong rivals, although Barça, led by Luis Enrique, would overtake them.
June 6, 2015 is a day that I will never forget, my team would play together with Juventus in the beloved Champions League, I remember that I was very excited and nervous at the same time, but I never doubted that Barça would win. The line-up with which they played I will have in my memory forever and it was the following: Ter Stegen; Dani Alves, Gerard Hammered, Mascherano, Jordi Alba; Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta; Leo Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar. The referee whistles and 90 minutes of the most beautiful sport in the world begins, not even 5 minutes passed and they had already scored a goal, I screamed like crazy, I felt that the trophy was already ours, although Morata would doubt that for a few minutes until Suárez gave them the advantage again and they would close with Neymar's goal that made people euphoric, including me. We had 3 of 6 possible, our next return would be Sevilla in the Super Cup, which would get complicated, but in the end they would end up giving in. The last one to almost achieve the sextet and no less important was the Club World Cup, this competition was easy to win, the sad thing was that we were 1 trophy away from achieving the 2nd sextet in the history of FC Barcelona. Thanks to this squad, I started playing soccer and spent more than 5 years practicing this sport, in which I lived many experiences, I met new places, new friends and other things.
The famous tiki-taka was the key to winning everything, this squad understood each other very well and if I'm not mistaken it was the same one that thrashed Madrid 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabéu, it was a tremendous kind of football. Like everything in life there are good and bad streaks, I think that this would last many years, without realizing that it would change the trend and everything would go down, season after season, defeat after defeat, Barcelona was losing that spark just like players.Barcelona's losing streak is over, or so I hope, the squad they currently have is not comparable to that of 2015, however, it cannot be denied that they have what it takes to compete in the Champions League and aspire to the title. This is going to be a process in which they will go from less to more, what I do expect from Barça this year is the league championship, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup.
