Greetings, friends of Full Deportes. It's Monday, and so we begin the week of training with an evening workout. The weather is wonderful at this time of day, cool, and it's divine to go jogging at night. Of course, it's a bit unsafe on the avenues, as there's more risk of tripping or being startled by cars and motorbikes, since visibility is reduced. But this time I went to the stadium with my husband, and thank God there was good lighting, the weather was perfect, and there were few people training.
Cuando sali con mi esposo aun no caía la noche, el estadio esta bien cerca de mi casa a unos 10 minutos, al llegar al estadio ya caía la noche, y el tiempo comencé a oscurecer.
When I left with my husband, night had not yet fallen. The stadium is very close to my house, about 10 minutes away. By the time we arrived at the stadium, night had fallen and it was getting dark.
The stadium was almost empty, with just a few kids playing football. The training scheduled for this day was thirty minutes on grass, at a gentle pace, to unload a little of the long training from the weekend. It is very important to take a break and relax our legs in order to continue advancing. Strong training is as important as rest. If we measure both, they have the same weight, which indicates that any imbalance in either of them, giving more weight to one, will unbalance our progress. For this reason, rest is necessary.
The hard 30-minute training session, ideal for unwinding, is equivalent to almost 5 kilometres. The training goal was achieved, as I felt my legs relax on the grass and become lighter.
