En Polonia, especialmente en el Estadio Municipal de Breslavia (Stadion Miejski), se llevó a cabo la final de la UEFA Conference League en su cuarta edición; en esta oportunidad se enfrentaron el Real Betis de España vs el Chelsea FC de Inglaterra; un enfrentamiento bastante dispar por el presupuesto de cada club en dónde los londinenses superan por mucho el costo del club sevillista; este dato no puede ser menor porque al final (y en mi opinión) fue lo que causó que la balanza se incline hacia el lado del Chelsea, lo cual le hizo ganar nuevamente un torneo continental para así i ser el primer equipo en ganar los tres torneos de clubes organizados por UEFA.
Como dije anteriormente, la diferencia económica entre los dos finalistas creó expectativas sobre esta final; esa clásica y repetida lucha la cual para muchos rememora la de "David vs Goliath", es lo que me impulsó a ver este encuentro que para ser sincero y desde el comienzo de la cuarta edición de la Conference League, esperaba que el Chelsea fuera uno de los finalistas porque no había competencia alguna contra un equipo que tenía hasta tres jugadores por posición y que estaba en una mejor condición física, ya que algunos de los titulares disputaron los encuentros de la segunda fase de dicha competición; todo lo contrario con el Betis, club el cual el Fair Play Financiero impuesto por La Liga le prohibía reforzarse a comienzo de temporada y que en el mercado de invierno, después de hacer varios ajustes, obtuvieron el préstamo de Anthony, extremo brasileño del ManUtd, un jugador que hizo el trabajo necesario y que generó emoción y esperanza para el club verdiblanco.
