Saludos a toda la comunidad de Full Deportes, los Cocodrilos de Matanzas, uno de los favoritos a llevarse la corona nacional, junto a los campeones defensores, Leñadores de Las Tunas, vencieron en la víspera a los Leones de Industriales por 4-1 en su feudo del estadio Victoria de Girón. Desafortunadamente por la situación de la electricidad y otras tareas ajenas a mi voluntad, no pude ver todo el partido por el televisor, sin embargo les traigo mis impresiones y una breve reseña de lo ocurrido en ese partido.
Con un frío y una sensación térmica poco habitual en nuestro país, fue la previa de este encuentro, en donde prácticamente todos los peloteros estaban bien abrigados, incluso algunos con pasamontañas que solo se le veían los ojos. Precisamente ese pelotero, Juan Miguel Martinez que es el campo corto de los matanceros afirmaba que nunca había jugado con tanto frío en el ambiente, y es algo lógico, a la 1:30 de la tarde la gran mayoría de los peloteros cubanos están adaptados a jugar con un calor bastante fuerte.
Al comenzar el partido, fueron los visitantes los que rugieron desde temprano con doble y base robada de su hombre proa, sin embargo un mal corrido de las bases tanto de él primer como del segundo bateador azul impidieron que los Industriales tuvieran hombres en circulación cuando viniera a batear Santoya, su mejor bateador. El propio Santoya desapareció la bola por el jardín derecho poniendo delante a los visitadores y poniendo en aprietos a un equipo cuyo lineup es ahora mismo el más poderoso de los 4 equipos que están en semifinales.
Durante las primeras 3 entradas el duelo de lanzadores estaba planteado entre dos pitchers que pertenecen a la selección nacional, Yoennis Yera por Matanzas y Raymond Figueredo por Industriales. Incluso se vio a Yera más inestable y gastando muchos lanzamientos, sin embargo lograba dar ceros entrada tras entrada. Los Cocodrilos mordieron fuerte en el cuarto capitulo cuando vieron por segunda vez a Figueredo y pegaron dobles consecutivos Hanyelo Videt y Yurisbel Gracial, este último se robó tercera y por el error en tiro del receptor logró hacer score y darle un vuelco al marcador.
Los matanceros agregaron 2 rayitas más en la sexta entrada, y en el séptimo volvió a complicarse Yera, dándole paso al cerrador del equipo Armando Dueñas, que obligó a batear para doble play, y después fue imposible descifrar sus lanzamientos. Además el propio Dueñas se sintió cómodo y dueño de la lomita, y silenció por completo el bateo de los Leones, al ritmo de 5 ponches. Destacar en este juego una acción defensiva del jardinero izquierdo Angel Alfredo Hechevarria, que le robó un jonrón a Ariel Martínez saltando en el justo momento para fildear la bola, evitó en ese momento que Matanzas ampliara mas el marcador a su favor.
Hoy lunes comienza la otra semifinal entre el campeón Las Tunas y los sorprendentes Cazadores de Artemisa, mientras Industriales buscará igualar el play off ante los matanceros, o irán para su estadio con el resultado muy cuesta arriba. Los abridores anunciados para ambos encuentros son Yosmel Garcés por Las Tunas, Geonel Gutierrez por Artemisa, Carlos Cuesta por Industriales y Yamichel Pérez por Matanzas. A esos qué siguen y ven el béisbol cubanos desde otro país, les invito que sigan estos partidos que son bastante interesantes.

Crocodiles strike first in postseason semifinals in Cuba
Greetings to the entire Full Deportes community, the Crocodiles of Matanzas, one of the favorites to take the national crown, along with the defending champions, Leñadores de Las Tunas, defeated the Leones de Industriales 4-1 the day before in their fiefdom of the Victoria de Girón stadium.Unfortunately due to the electricity situation and other tasks beyond my control, I was not able to watch the entire game on television, however I bring you my impressions and a brief review of what happened in that game.
With a cold and an unusual thermal sensation in our country, it was the preview of this match, where practically all the players were well wrapped up, even some with balaclavas that only their eyes could be seen.Precisely that player, Juan Miguel Martinez, who is the Matanzas shortstop, stated that he had never played with so much cold in the environment, and it is logical, at 1:30 in the afternoon the vast majority of Cuban players are adapted to playing in quite strong heat.
