Una introducción necesaria
nos recordaba que restan 127 días para que dé inicio la competición deportiva más importante del planeta. En dicha publicación hacía una valoración sobre parte de la historia de estas competiciones y el auge e importancia que han ido alcanzando con el paso de los años. A partir de ese libro y de los juegos que se celebrarán en este verano el autor intentará traer a la comunidad sus valoraciones, sobre algunos de los hechos más relevantes ocurridos en esta historia que comenzó en 1896 y que tendrá su continuidad entre finales de julio y la primera quincena de agosto del 2024. Esto sería con una frecuencia semanal, y tratará de abordar la mayor gama de hechos y países posibles, para que la mayoría esté representada en las publicaciones.
Reitero que son opiniones y valoraciones, nada de relatos, sobre hechos ocurridos. En ellos va mi criterio personal que no tiene que coincidir, pero que, valoraría en demasía sus criterios porque me ayudarán a mejorar la calidad del libro que estamos escribiendo.
Los hitos en el deporte olímpico
En esta primera entrega quiero referirme a algunos hechos que trascienden lo puramente deportivo, por lo que han significado en el desarrollo posterior del deporte. Milestones in Olympic sport
In this first installment I want to refer to some events that transcend the purely sporting, for what they have meant in the subsequent development of sport.
