Colby Covington gano la pelea fácilmente gracias a su gran lucha en el suelo, pudimos observar lo superior que fue ante un Masvidal que no tenia absolutamente nada que hacer cuando estaban en el piso, fue dominado por un Colby que demuestra que tiene un grappling excelente, haciendo un combate mas que inteligente llevando su plan a la perfección, primero estaba golpeando muy bien arriba con muchas combinaciones, pero en el momento que menos se lo esperaba Masvidal llegaba Colby a derribarlo y en esa zona el suelo lo dominaba como quería sin complicaciones.

Esto para mi es un punto muy importante a mencionar, desde mi criterio en este deporte el cardio fue un gran detonante para que Colby luciera tan dominante, mas aun cuando vimos que su rival Masvidal en el 3er round ya no podía mas y así el combate fue mucho mas a su favor.

En general buenas combinaciones de golpeo arriba con su jab y la zurda que llego a castigar muchas veces a Masvidal, luego muy bueno todos los derribos, gran presión gracias a su cardio fenomenal y una lucha asombrosa en el piso que le permitió dominar aun Masvidal sin respuestas.

Lo vi muy mal en este combate, no me gusto para nada lo de Masvidal, todavía estoy pensando sin verdaderamente tenia algo en mente para ganar esta pelea, porque no hizo nada que pudiera llevarlo a un lugar en donde se viera cómodo, mas bien siempre estuvo en aprietos y como digo si no usa su principal carta que es el boxeo menos puede ganar.

No es posible que en su mejor momento no haya lanzado mas golpes, eso era lo que se necesitaba volumen de golpeo para que ganara, luego tengo que decir que su lucha en el suelo es muy mala, no va poder ganarle nunca a ningún top 3 de la división porque todos son muy buenos en el suelo y su cardio también lucio un poco mal cuando ya en el 3er asalto se veía muy cansado. Para mi falto volumen de golpe, falto una mejor protección contra derribos, un mejor cardio y ser un poco mas inteligente para llevar el combate hacia la zona que mas le convenía que era boxeo, pero eso no se puede dar si tu eres quien va hacia atrás y no el que mete la presión.

Termino Colby Covington saliendo victorioso de este gran duelo personal que tenían, además de una manera tan dominante que no veo por ningún lado una revancha, pues estuve leyendo que varias personas preguntaban si venia una segunda pelea, pero no creo y la razón es que Masvidal nunca pudo colocar a Colby en peligro excepto un golpe que pudo conectar pero sin llegar a mayores cosas.
