Hey there!
I'm newer to hive.blog, but not so new to Hive.
I've always liked communities, but have never really been highly invested in one until lately. I started a Splinterlands Guild, which eventually led to me having a small community within that community, and one of the members recommended this site. Long story short, I love it here! I've found mountains of useful information. Every day it seems I find a post better than the last, and I'm constantly both motivated to post but discouraged by some of the quality I see sometimes haha.
I created my own community here on hive.blog, and am really excited to engage and learn more about the platform. I know this may be a quicker, lower effort post; but I want to say to all of you regulars here that I appreciate you. I never thought myself a blogger before, or even someone who would read blogs regularly.
Now, I've engaged in topics far outside Splinterlands, and have solidified my belief in the Hive chain even further. I will continue to shill the awesomeness of the Hive ecosystem regardless of what anyone says XD Another cool thing is that I've even gotten my Wife who otherwise isn't too interested in crypto to start making art for the platform and even plans to start posting here and then. It's actually been an incredible experience and I hope I can make a post that helps and encourages lots of people soon. I have bigger post in the works, and I hope that can help some people.
I'm new here, so my hopes of earnings are not high nor do I really want that. I primarily enjoy having any form of compensation, as well as a system where people have to selectively choose what and where they want to post. It is nice to have that more serious feel. Unfortunately I don't have a whole lot to share here, or any fancy graphics. I figured I should make an appreciation post though, at least once, because I truly do appreciate the platform. I have high hopes for the future of Hive. I hope that I can post frequently and make more meaningful contributions every day.
Also, if you're newer to hive, this is a really good in-depth beginner's guide: @ryzeonline/hive-a-complete-beginners-guide-with-fun-doodles-pt-1
Shoutout to the #amazingnature community. Super cool page.
