Great impacts are made here in Ghana with the power of Hive. Each one of the projects we have done so far constantly shows us what we are capable of achieving with Hive. Hive is inspiring hope in people now with the Hive empowers communities; an initiative that is is empowering communities and exposing Hive to them.
With 5 communities already benefiting from the Hive mechanised boreholes and with 9 schools in the deprived areas receiving educational support from Hive, we believe that much more can be done with Hive. We have a lot to show to the outside world to see how Hive is reaching out to communities and schools and making so much difference in their lives.
The project work has only been ongoing since Monday, but it is already moving quickly. We are pleased to update the Hive community on the current state after the drilling and pumping works were successfully completed.
The construction work started today at the project site-Jamasi Dawu. This work is about the construction of the foundation for the tower that will house the water tank and the walls on which the taps will be installed. These are all crucial aspects of the facility that are required to give it a great look and to provide an easy way to access the water.
Metal rebars and frameworks were used during the construction to help reinforce the concretes, this work was done expertly by the masons. The tower would be erected through a series of concrete stacking and would require enough time to cure. After completing the construction, the water tank would be installed, pipping would be done and finally, wall tiling. We are certain that we will successfully finish all tasks within the two weeks allotted for this project, completing the project in time to start supplying water to Jamasi Dawu's residents.
While the construction was going on, water was being flushed away to make room for clean water. In order to make sure the clean water is safe to drink, it would also be tested and given the required treatments. These locals have been ecstatic about the initiative ever since they learned how much it will contribute to resolving the water crisis in the area. They feel a huge sense of joy in knowing that the water facility will soon be able to help them. With the project launch, we already anticipate an eventful day.
Plans are underway to have a great inaugural ceremony that we intended to use various news networks to share with the rest of the world. Hive deserves more attention and it's the more the last stage of the project has alway been the crucial aspect.
News about how Hive is constantly changing lives with these life-transforming projects has the power to connect more people to Hive and to increase our user base. We are doing this out of love for community and love for Hive. It's our goal to see a lot of people discover Hive in Ghana and beyond. Much appreciation to all who have supported us in diverse ways.
