I can still remember that day I made up my mind to create an hive account. I was sure that I’ll give my time to growing my account even when I wasn’t completely sure what I had to do. At that time, I have heard so much about hive and I was already prepared to give hive a shot. I had one thing in mind, “since I’m not losing anything, it is totally worth giving it the best shot”. I started my hive journey 4 years ago. Yesterday marked that milestone for me. I received a notification from hivebuzz and I was expecting the regular updates but this one was one that comes only once in a year and I remember feeling happy about it. I mean, I already forgot it was 10th of December but hivebuzz reminded me.
Since my hive journey started, my life has changed in ways that I even least expected. For me, I tell people that there is no better place I’d rather be than hive no matter what happens. Yes, it’s sad to see hive face these critical times but I’m still grateful for being here. Since I joined, I always made sure to work hard and smart because I know that’s the only way I can show my gratitude to the hive blockchain for their support and dedication. I don’t have thousands of dollars to invest in it but I do have my time and skills.
I know how many times I have thought to myself of how I want to invest on hive but sadly, I haven’t been able to do anything instead, I only keep taking. For me, growing my hive account is not doing others good but myself. It’s not like I’m doing anyone a favor by growing my account but myself but of course, whether good or bad, it affects others too and that’s also one thing I like about hive.
Getting to this level on hive hasn’t been easy. I’m really grateful to my onboarder who happens to also be my elder sister for always been there for me all through my journey. She is also my mentor in so many areas too. Thanks to her, my journey here wasn’t so hard and discouraging. Being a part of hive gave me the ability to always want to work on myself because I know that most of the things I have benefited from hive are almost free. I do even more things on other platforms prior to when I joined hive and I never really get as much benefits as I do from hive.
Right now, my major goal for my hive account is to continually grow my stakes and improve on my blogs. Yes, I was once guilty of using AI to make my post more professional and I paid dearly for that but not anymore. I want to watch how hive will help me become a professional writer by showing up as much as it’s possible and do the work all by myself. Lately, I have gotten so many messages from people asking me to stop using AI to write my post and I just laugh because I don’t use AI but they think so which means I’m getting really better by the day. I guess this is one benefit of being consistent with anything we do.
Right now, I have made so many achievements on hive in these past 4 years (if you want to find out what they are, you can check through the hivebuzz leaderboard) and I look forward to making more even this new year. My heart goes out to all those who have consistently supported and helped me get to this point. I wouldn’t have been able to get this far without you all. For those whose posts I read that gave me the opportunity to learn more about hive and how to keep succeeding, I also say thank you.
Happy 4th Hive Anniversary to me! Cheers to greater heights!
Thank you for reading through. 💜
