Web 3 is a huge world that's a lot of learning and discovery. Diving into this kind of world a few years ago always thrilled me to resurface knowledge from different aspects of Web 3. Starting from Learning crypto blogging, NFT'S, Crypto Coins, and MFT'S. I know in my self I only have an atom size of knowledge about Web 3 for now. That's why when theirs an opportunity of learning, I always take it and make myself a student to learn more about Web 3. Just like what happened last Saturday.
The Grand Event
July 15, 2023. One of the grand events of Web 3 in the Philippines happened in Ayala Malls Central Bloc Cebu, Philippines. The event is called BULL OR BEAR, Philippine Web 3 Grand Debate.

The event is located in the 3rd-floor event area of the Mall and it will start at 5:00 pm. I came up 30 minutes before the call time to secure the chair and from the outside, you will see a lot of enthusiastic people eager to learn about Web 3.
To enter the event, you need to line up first in the registration area and scanned your ticket for the Event. The ticket only cost you 3 dollars. Inside you will see booths from different Web 3 platforms and exchanges like Bitget, Tekkon, CoinW and Hive DBuzz.
Before visiting the booths I look up for familiar faces first for companions. A few minutes I saw 
After the gang arrived, we start visiting the booths since we have 20 minutes before the event officially start. In the booths, each platform discusses what they can offer in the market and they show us some insights about it. They also give some merchants after the discussion. In the booth of Hive we met the 
We go back to our reserved set After the meet-up with these Hive fellas, cause the event will about to start. It started with playing the national anthem of the Philippines and an opening message from DICT director Ms. Emmy Lou Delfin. She emphasizes the adoption of Web 3 in the Philippines in the future. Followed by a special message from Congressman Edu Rmaa Representative and DICT Cebu Engr. Roydean Rusiana.
Web 3 Platforms Presentation
Tackling About Web 3 begins. It starts by educating the audience on what is Web 3. Web 3 101 is discussed smoothly by Aaron Lay a Bitskwela core member. He discusses it phase by phase so everyone can differentiate Web 3 from other Web 2 social media platforms we used nowadays. Then followed by 
Afterward, Mr. 
Speakers from different platforms are all knowledgeable. They convey all information we want to learn about their network. Happy to learn some insights about those different Web 3 platforms.
Grand Debate
The awaited grand debate was next in line. At this part of the event debaters from different sectors related to Web 3 came together to give their stand on some questions and issues about Web 3 Platforms. They are asked if the Bullish or Bearish side.

Every debater stands and gives a point on the side they choose either the Bullish or Bearish side. They all have technical knowledge of Web 3 that supports the side they pick to answer the Issues about Web 3 platforms. They also give scenarios that will convince the audience to be on their side. The audience also has a voice by answering the poll on the Cellphone with the link they give. On the site, we will also choose if we are Bullish or Bearish on this debate prompt.
In this debate, I learned a lot of different points of view from the debaters on these concerns on Web 3 platforms. It gives me a lot of takeaways to answer Why should we in the Philippines embrace the world of Web 3" and What is its effect if we adopt it on our daily bases?.
The Debate was the last part of the event after the energetic moderator closed it. We take a chance to have some pictures with other Hivers, Debators, and Web 3 enthusiasts for our Souvenirs.
The Event lasted for 3 hours and its very worth it. I'm grateful that I've attended such a kind Web 3 event in Cebu City, Philippines. I would like to thank you Bitskwela and other members of this event for bringing this amazing meet-up to Cebu City. Hoping this will not be the last. For sure this will be the gateway of every Cebuano to learn more a lot of Web 3 Platforms.
