Hi Hive Lovers
Patterns of social interaction have undergone major changes. This great change has crushed the system of civilization in the way people interact. You don't even know your next-door neighbor anymore, but you're more familiar with someone on the other side of the world.
Before "going further," I will convey a few points of a disclaimer first:
- I am writing this post to tell you what I have experienced since I joined the #HiveCommunity on May 16, 2022. I am still "the little red fish" who is "learning to swim" here.
- I will use a lot of vocabulary or sentences that I put in quotation marks ("...") in this post. That's what I mean, not to limit your comprehension of my sentences. You are completely free to interpret them however you wish.
- What I wrote in this post is my own version. If later there are things that are not right and do not match what you felt while joining here, you can give "appreciation" for yourself.
- As far as I feel during the approximately 4 months I've been here, I'm too "excited"-especially in the last two months. However, everything is still in my full control.
- The material in this post is also not entirely my personal experience. But I try to feel what other people feel. So if there are some things in common between me and any of you, that means we have a "closeness." And if any of you are willing to provide feedback in the comments column of my post, then I will fully appreciate it by replying to all your comments.
- I really don't mind if you share my post again. It will further "broaden" the reach of our "feeling" of engagement and it will also help everyone to benefit from this post of mine.
- My disclaimer is "longer" than the post material. So you just need "a little more time" to understand my important talk about how it "feels" after joining the #HiveCommunity.
What has happened?
The biggest pattern of social interaction today is social media. Interactions on social media today have "brought the far away but have distanced the near." You all understand what I mean.
You've ruined your own sleep and rest patterns, you've ruined your relationship with your partner in bed, or you've ruined your relationship with your spoiled children. In fact, all of you have spoiled the warmth at your dining table because everyone around the dining table is busy reacting to the sound of incoming message notifications on their respective smartphones, even ignoring the prayer together before eating.
Since the emergence of various social media platforms, almost everyone has flocked to create their own accounts. Millions of the world's population flooded Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. Everyone wants to show their existence and wants to tell everyone that they "are alive".
When you just woke up one late morning, you immediately posted your "pillow face" on one of those platform accounts while writing "how is the world?" Don't you want to tell everyone that you are "still alive"?
Some people who are "smarter", behind a post, want "something". Their existence on social media wants to be given value, and some want to "live" from there. Some even shamelessly "sell" their privacy for the sake of monetization without being able to provide added value and usefulness to others who interact with them.
The providers of various platforms then began to carry out various restrictions on the pretext of violating the rules and disturbing the "comfort" of the public interest. People are limited in their interactions, your content is censored, and even the "resources" you have accumulated over the years since you were a teenager are simply "taken away" without the right to complain. And even if you make a complaint, it's like you're protesting an airplane flight schedule. The plane will continue to fly, leaving you who are swearing in the airport crowd, and the security is ready to "take you out" at any time from the area that belongs to them completely. You're the only passenger there. Luckily, they didn't throw you out the plane door in the air. Hey, it could happen, and you never have a chance to have a flying parachute. !LOL
Lately, some people are getting bored and fed up with various centralized social media platforms, where the full authority lies with the owner or manager of the platform. Thankfully, there I never violated any rules, but I felt very closely monitored. For me, the ads that keep popping up are also really disgusting, but they make their money from there, and you are forced to swallow it all raw, right?
This is where we are now.
It was like finding my own "home" when I joined the #HiveCommunity. I feel like I can do anything without worrying.
At home, you have the freedom to create any content, and the authority to control content is given to the user community itself. Hey, in a house, there are rules too! You even keep an eye on your children so they learn not to "snap" at each other and not to let the plates there become "flying saucers". In a free system, there are also rules to maintain order. If you are at the dining table, you are free to choose the menu you like, but don't disturb the people next to you, right? That is ethics.
Blockchain-based decentralized social media systems also govern ethics. Stakeholders also adjust development needs for mutual progress. If there is a fundamental change regarding the blockchain, then it will be done by mutual decision.
You can see more than 100,000,000 posts every day here, and it happens every second of our 24 hours. Although not even 10 years old, Hive as a social media platform has experienced very significant growth and has captured the attention of many people around the world. In some cases, the # HiveCommunity has directly contributed to the empowerment of its surrounding communities. The Hive logo has been everywhere in our offline and online lives.
The rapid growth and development of #Hive has alarmed other social media platforms, particularly those that "stand on their own." Since 4 months ago, when was born, I have "started to fly" with a reputation of number 60. This is an extraordinary accomplishment for me in the midst of my hectic work, which is always constrained by deadlines. What should I say?
Meanwhile, I have had the urge to close my accounts "there". Some of my best friends around the world are still there. For some reason, I haven't closed it and have very rarely opened "next door" accounts. Although still stumbling, I have started surfing here with you who have already become "orcas or whales" because of the hard work of your involvement. I'm still nothing compared to you, but my passion will follow your success. I have been very obsessed and have said to myself, "One post every day is not difficult, is it?"
I can share a lot of goodness here with all of you. I am a motivator. I am also an adventurer, even though I rarely get the chance to travel. I am also an angler - I always do it once a month. I am also a coffee addict, which I have to drink every morning and evening, and a true food lover. Every day in the kitchen and occasionally take my wife to eat at several restaurants so that she gets inspiration to enliven her kitchen, which looks neat at all times. Aren't some of you here also the same as me?
I am here just like all of you, who can make posts every day. I feel very productive here. Compared to what I used to do with my social media accounts out there. My posts there can only be counted on the fingers, and even then, in a month, it is not necessary to make a post.
Since joining #Hive, I have rarely opened my account on other platforms. My time is wasted here and I have lost the passion to go in there. At #Hive, my mind is always able to hatch new ideas to share with you here at "Hive's house" as a fun passion.
