I remember clearly that at the beginning of last year, I made a post about Hive on my WhatsApp status, and a friend who was an active user on the Hive platform commented in a strange way:
“You still write on Hive? Hmmmm.”
I knew exactly where she was heading with that statement, so I replied shabbily just to avoid the annoying sermons that were about to follow. Unfortunately, she was already prepared to drop the sermon regardless of my response.
“It’s very strange to know that you are still writing with that very low price. Don’t you get frustrated? As you know, I left many years ago because I felt like I was wasting my time on something fruitless...”
She continued. I deliberately kept her messages unread, and when I finally read them, I replied to the best of my ability. At the end of my response, I jokingly told her to gift me her Ecency points since she was no longer using the platform, and yes, she actually gave them to me. Lol.
The truth is that the Hive platform is not like other platforms. Although it has its bad sides too, it is something worth continuing. Even earning just 1 Hive daily is something meaningful. What if Hive eventually becomes one dollar someday? Oh yes, it is very possible!
I will not lie; among all the reasons why I am still pushing and have grown to love this place, earning is the topmost reason. Like I always tell people, especially those who have given up or are about to give up, this DIP season of Hive is also very advantageous. This is because one earns more Hive in the form of HP, which is a good opportunity to build up one’s Hive Power. The good thing is that the accumulated HP is still one’s personal money and can still be used when necessary.
Although earnings are down, especially with regard to HBD that comes from payouts, HP is usually high in numbers whenever a post pays out.
Back in the day, Hive earnings helped me a lot financially when the price of Hive was good and stable. What makes me think that the price will not rise again in the years to come? Absolutely nothing. I strongly believe that better days are coming.
The craziest thing is that I have made this platform a home and a habit for myself to the extent that if I do not write in a day, I feel like something is missing within me. Yes, I always have the urge to write something daily, even when the payment is going to be small. I just want to write, make a count for the day, and also make sure I earn at least 1 Hive daily.
Thanks for reading.
