Resulta que hace un par de meses mi jefe me pone como tarea hacerme "experto" en Hive, pues la compañía para la que trabajo está interesada en trazar puentes entre la web2 y web3. Yo definitivamente acepté, porque me gusta ponerme retos y actualizarme. Aunque ya conocía un poco del mundo NFT y tal y venía de redes sociales tokenizadas como Noise.cash, jamás me abría imaginado el mundo de oportunidades que me abriría Hive.
A couple of months ago my boss gave me the task of becoming an "expert" in Hive, since the company I work for is interested in building bridges between web2 and web3. I definitely accepted, because I like to challenge myself and update myself. Although I already knew a bit about the NFT world and such, coming from tokenized social networks like Noise.cash, I never imagined the world of opportunities that Hive would open up for me.

Lo más probable es que hubiera seguido metido en la matrix de la web2, divagando para un público que rara vez te lee y que cuando lo hace prefiere trolear o inyectar odio en vez de criticar sí, pero con base y constructivamente. Sería como hablarle a la nada, gritar en un desierto donde a nadie le importa realmente lo que digas o hagas si no tienes más de 10 mil seguidores y una vida de casas de muñecas.

Vivir sin Hive sería eso, continuar en un círculo vicioso que no llega a ningún sitio. Un lugar donde las compañías trafican contigo y jamás recibes nada a cambio. Vivir sin Hive sería vivir como un esclavo en "una prisión hecha para la mente" (comenta si entendiste la referencia 😅).
Living without Hive would be that, continuing in a vicious circle that goes nowhere. A place where companies traffic you and you never receive anything in return. Living without Hive would be living like a slave in "a prison made for the mind" (comment if you got the reference 😅).
Pero ni siquiera esto es lo peor, aún la mayoría sigue ahí fuera sin importarle demasiado que controlen sus vidas, que les vendan publicidad después de estudiar sus gustos, y lo que subes día a día. Lo peor, creo es que estaría dejando de formar parte del futuro de nuestra relación con internet tal y como lo conocemos. Eso es lo malo, lo terrible, no dar el paso y comenzar.
Así que gracias Ruta Blockchain, Gracias Loving Hive e infinitamente gracias Hive.
But even this is not the worst, most of them are still out there without caring too much that they control their lives, that they sell them publicity after studying their tastes, and what you upload every day.
