Imagine Life Without Hive- How would It Be?

Before I start explaining my life without hive, I will like to appreciate Hive account@rutablockchain for making this initiative possible for people to share their life stories on how Hive has changed most of them. I will also like to thank Hive account@merit.ahama for the invite, I'm so excited to join in this challenge.

I can't just start imagining life without hive because I have come a long way with hive Blockchain so life without it will be boring. First let me tell you how my life was before I joined Hive.

My Life Before Hive

I never knew that there was something called hive Blockchain, I have hard of people being paid by just writing but I never believed I would be among them. I'm a normal regular girl who depends on her Mom for almost everything, I had planned my life that after school, I will get a good job at one of the biggest companies so I can take care of my mom.

What I wanted was to make my mother proud by reading my books and concentrating in class which every student will do. My life was just like the others, wake up in the morning, bath, eat and off to school. When I'm back, I will do my school work, read my books then do my house chores. Most times when I'm free, I will either be on WhatsApp or Facebook chatting with people just because I don't want to be bored, at times you will even see me watch movies with my phone. I even watch videos on TikTok and some other websites, then I thought I was enjoying myself because life seems easy to me, but on many occasions, I have thought of how I could get a job just to reduce the work load from my mom.

Sometimes when I'm bored, I will visit my friends at their house, we'll chat all day. That's how my routine kept on going and to myself I thought I was catching fun not until I was introduced to Hive Blockchain.

My Life With Hive

When I was first introduced to Hive by Hive account@merit.ahama, she explained everything I needed to know about Hive and that was last year October. My response to her was that "I don't know how to write, how will I cope if I eventually join hive"?. She made me to know that everyone can write, all I needed was dedication and determination. She taught me everything I needed to know and whenever I was confused, I will ask her, She's ever willing to put me through.

Hive brought out the talent in me, I never knew I could write until I joined, though I wouldn't say I'm perfect in writing, but I'm trying my best.

Since I joined Hive, life has become less boring for me, I hardly visit my friends neither do I spend more time on Facebook or WhatsApp because I have to engage myself in some of the activities on Hive like write a post, comment on people's posts, engage in some Contest, check my notification if there's any and lots more.

I'm gradually depending on myself, though I'm still building my Hive account but I know in due time everything will be perfect, then I wouldn't have to depend on anyone else again when my Hive account is there for me.

Life with hive is fun especially getting to meet new friends from other countries and learning somethings from them.

My Life Without Hive

Imagining my life without hive means going back to my former life, which means dwelling most of my time on WhatsApp and Facebook or better still, watching movies that doesn't even pay, instead I will be wasting my precious time that I'm supposed to use to improve my writing skills.

Life without hive means I still have to be dependent on my mother for everything I need in life.

Life without hive would have been meaningless because I wouldn't have learnt most of the things I know today

I don't even want to go further to explain my life without hive because I know it would have been so boring repeating the same routine everyday and not getting any positive feedback.
