Today is Bitcoin Pizza Day in different parts of the world as we celebrate the 13th year anniversary of the infamous purchase of two pizzas for 10,000 BTC and one way to celebrate it, is to also show our love with Hive.
Here in the Philippines, a group of veteran and expert developers were enjoying their Bitcoin Pizza Day. Through the efforts made by Chris Rice (), the founder of D.Buzz, two boxes were delivered to commemorate the event.
Chris told me that he did not buy the two boxes of pizza but the other one was purchased by a TikTok content creator here in the Philippines, Tony Rebamonte (), who got a surprise from Binance who was responsible for the other pizza, the company provided him with a P1,000 gift voucher to celebrate the BTC Pizza Day.
Instead of Tony eating the pizza by himself or with his friend, he decided to join a group of developers, and as a way of thanking them for their work as developers, he decided to buy a box of pizza and Chris took care of the other one.

According to both Chris Rice and Tony Rebamonte, it is indeed a remarkable thing to do in life to give back to the community, particularly to the same people who started it all, cryptocurrency could not come to fruition without the first developers who made the blockchain where it all began.
As a sign of gratitude to all the developers out there from different parts of the world it is indeed more memorable for any individual to be grateful for their work as developers, coders, and programmers.
Loving the developers by giving them a slice of pizza and celebrating their achievements through the memorable Pizza Day at the same time in return to Chris and Tony's gratitude towards them and towards the Hive community all the devs decided to wear their Hive shirts throughout the day.
These developers here in the Philippines showed their love for Hive by wearing the shirts given to them by Chris Rice () through funds from his own pockets as part of his micro-philanthropy initiative.
This is how the Filipino developers showed their love to the Hive community and this was made possible through Chris Rice who initiated some activities to promote Hive a few weeks from now, like the FrolicBlock event, where Hive and DBuzz logos be shown to thousands of participants in the hottest summer blockchain event in the Philippines.
Once Again, Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day and Thank You Chris Rice, Tony Rebamonte, and Nathan Senn.
