Hello dear reader , here from northern Germany.
As you have read out from my last post. Link here:
@exptrader/setup-for-a-new-astra
Have I found the time to paste the army for my brother as a birthday gift now. As always with something I was very euphoric and have immediately glued the first 5 completely (except the heads), and have directly bumped my head against the table.
I now have the problem what I already had with the Dark Angels miniatures. The battered weapon is now in the way and so I can not get to the chest area.
Fortunately, I still remembered in time and have therefore the remaining people only their legs and torso glued.
The gluing of the miniatures really takes a lot of time which I underestimated. Have given my best that you can hardly see the plastic holders on the miniatures (usually helps a lot of color but in this case is very much color optically very unaktraktiv ;)) )
I have deliberately chosen the primer "Wraith Bone" because the Astartes Militarum uses quite lighter colors as a layer. With the sprayer I have sprayed everything. The individual parts and the miniatures.
It was my first attempt (the Dark angels I have not primed because I was naive and thought you do not need it). Was very surprised how thin but the layer of paint is and am very satisfied.
What you do not recognize here in the pictures is the walker and the support weapons. I will probably paint them last because the figures need the most time. It should look reasonable and motivate my brother to have fun with his miniatures.
The next step will be to paint the figures with Zandi Dust and paint the weapons so I can glue them on.
Until the next post
