A surprise donation of Imperial forces swells the numbers of the Deathwatch in my collection!
This lot was up for sale, and based on what the models are worth in money spent, they are worth quite a bit.
However, with these models all being Firstborn and most new armies being upsized and Firstborn replaced, it becomes a less attractive sale.
However, the owner remembered that I collect all things Imperial and that I use those models in massive battles regardless of whether or not they are Legends units or not.
So let me run through the units real quick!
2x Corvus Blackstars! This is a gunship and an aerial transport.
There are 18 Deathwatch Veterans. Right now we have but them into 3x sets of 6.
A unit of Deathwatch Terminators and a Terminator Librarian. This model is a Blood Angels character that someone converted for the Deathwatch.
Another 4 Characters including Artemis (I have 2 now, maybe convert 1 into something else), a Captain, Chaplain and Watchmaster.
Kill Team Cassius! I really had this on my wishlist as a collectible and did not know how I was going to get my hands on them as they are discontinued and Legends units.
I am so happy about this! Chaplain Cassius is the Ultramarines High Chaplain. I don't know if that is past tense though and I don't know what part of his career did he go to the Deathwatch.
His team are typical mix of iconic Chapters and I will make a post about them in the future!
Adding my existing Corvus... Can you imagine the kind of mayhem I can wreck in the big games now with all this aircraft?!
Now... Will need to repaint/perfect the paint on these... I will load it on to the queue! lol
