Speaking of improvising, I made my daughter a fun ponytail in the shape of a bunny. Believe me friends, making this ponytail won't take more than an hour and if you work in a well organized way I think even less time, and best of all you will get an authentic bunny ponytail, very fun and without spending any money because I'm sure we already have almost all these things at home. Hablando de improvisar le hice una divertida coleta a mi hija con forma de conejo. Créanme amigos, hacer está coleta no tomará más de una hora y si trabajas de manera bien organizada creo que hasta menos tiempo, y lo mejor de todo obtendrán una auténtica coleta de conejo, muy divertida y sin gastar nada de dinero pues estoy segura que casi todas estas cosas las tenemos ya en casa. Vengan conmigo al paso a paso. Les comparto cada detalle y si tienen una nena este es un accesorio que no puede faltar.

First we make a pom pom, this is basic and surely you already have a way to do it, even so I tell you how I do it: I cut two cardboard rings of the same size and this will depend on what size you want your pom pom, mine measured about 6 centimeters approximately. We make a cut to pass the thread and place one ring on top of the other. In the middle, we place a piece of wool that will be the tie cord and we roll the wool around the entire hoop until it is a little thick, this so that the pom pom is not unpopulated.

Primero hacemos un pom pom, esto es básico y seguro ya tienen su forma de hacerlo, aún así les cuento cómo lo hago: corto dos aros de cartón del mismo tamaño y éste va a depender de qué tamaño desean su pom pom, el mío midió unos 6 centímetros aproximadamente. Le realizamos un corte para pasar el hilo y colocamos un aro sobre el otro. En medio, acomodamos un trozo de lana que será el cordón de amarre y vamos enrollando la lana alrededor de todo el aro hasta que nos quede un tanto gruesa, esto para que el pom pom no quede despoblado.

Una vez envueltos los aros, cortamos la lana que ya no vamos a usar y tiramos del hilo central para apretar un poco, ubicamos la separación de los aros y con las tijeras cortamos justo a la mitad todos los hilos al tiempo que vamos ajustando el hilo de amarre. Realizamos varios nudos para evitar que se desarme. Ya está listo el pom pom.

Now we go to the ears. With blue yarn we knit a chain of 12 stitches and we knit a chain of 12 stitches and we make medium high stitches from stitch 10 until we reach the beginning of the chain in stitch 1, we knit 3 medium high stitches in the same world and we go through the whole chain on the opposite side. Change the color of the yarn to white and knit a whole round with single crochet, tie off at the end and you have an ear. We make another one exactly the same.

Ahora vamos con las orejas. Con lana azul tejemos una cadena de 12 puntos y realizamos puntos medio alto a partir del punto 10 hasta llegar al inicio de la cadena en el punto 1 realizamos 3 puntos medio alto en ese mismo mundo y recorremos toda la cadena del lado opuesto. Cambiamos el color del hilo a blanco y tejemos toda una vuelta con puntos bajos, atamos al final y tenemos una oreja. Realizamos otra exactamente igual.

With pink yarn we made a small bow and I sewed a cute crystalline heart-shaped button that was perfect for this accessory.

Con lana rosada realizamos un pequeño moño y coseguí lindo botón cristalino en forma de corazón que vino perfecto para este accesorio.

At the moment of assembly we sew a hair tie, actually the ones I use for my daughter are made of fabric to avoid mistreating the hair with the rubber ones, we sew carefully and at the same time we sew the bunny ears.

Al momento de ensamblar cosemos una liga para el cabello, en realidad las que uso para mi hija son de tela para evitar maltratar el cabello con las de caucho, cosemos cuidadosamente y al mismo tiempo vamos cosiendo las orejas de conejo.

The last thing we do is to glue the bow in the middle of the two ears and this is the icing on the cake, this little bow made the difference because it looked heavenly. My daughter loved her new ponytail, she thought it was a bracelet until I put it in her hair. I liked it very much and I plan to make several in other colors for her to give to her friends, because this little girl is like me, she really enjoys entertaining her friends and this is a great blessing for our lives. Lo último que hacemos es pegar el moño en medio de las dos orejas y ésta es la guinda del pastel, este pequeño moño hizo la diferencia pues le quedó celestial. Mi hija amo su colita nueva, ella pensó que era una pulsera hasta que se la coloqué en el pelo. A mí me gustó mucho y pienso hacer varios de otros colores para que regale a sus amigas, pues esta niña es como yo, disfruta muchísimo agasajar a sus amigas y ésta es una gran bendición para nuestras vidas.
