In the midst of the situation I took time in the early hours of the morning, when the sun is not yet up to dedicate myself to my creations and my study and pending, among which I have several of my friend Richie, I chose among them a dige of recina with a beautiful tree painted inside. From the beginning this dige caught my attention and I wanted to make something eye-catching for it, but not too invasive as to detract from the presence of the beautiful dige.

En medio de la situación saqué tiempo a primeras horas de la mañana, cuando aún no sale el sol para dedicarme a mis creaciones y mis estudio y pendientes, entre los cuales tengo varios de mi amigo Richie, elegí entre ellos un dige de recina con hermoso árbol pintado en su interior. Desde el principio me llamo la atención este dige y quería hacer para él algo llamativo, pero que no fuera demasiado invasivo como para restarle presencia al hermoso dige.

The dige has a very basic crimp made with wire, Rich, he wants to give this gift to his mom for Christmas and he is very detail oriented, so I put a lot more care in this necklace.

El dige tiene un engarce muy básico hecho con alambre, Rich, desea obsequiarle este regalo a su mamá en navidad y él es muy detallista, por eso puse mucho más esmero en este collar.

The first step was to attach the chain to the dige crimp, this is really not complicated at all, just open a link of the chain and close it on the crimp. It doesn't matter if we do it at the beginning or at the end but it was practical to do it at the beginning because I had already determined the length of the necklace and to work the opposite side.

El primer paso fue colocar la cadena al engarce de dige, realmente eso no tiene nada de complicado, solo hay que abrir un eslabón de la cadena y cerrarlo sobre el encarce. No importa si lo hacemos al principio o al final pero resultó práctico hacerlo al inicio pues ya tenía determinado el largo del collar y para trabajar el lado opuesto.

Now comes the laborious part. I have told you that I don't like working with nylon, it always exhausts me a lot because I get confused with the strands. I used four strands of nylon, which I passed through the crimp of the dige and then through a 3mm aquamarine green crystal.

Ahora viene la parte laboriosa. Les he comentado que no me gusta trabajar con nylon, siempre me agota mucho porque me confundo con las hebras. Utilicé cuatro hebras de nylon, las cuales pase por engarce del dige y luego por un cristal verde aguamarina de 3mm.

Through the two central strands I passed a 5 mm white crystal. Thread 6 beads on each side through the side strands.

Por las dos hebras centrales pase un cristal blanco de 5 mm. Por las hebras laterales pase 6 mostacillas de cada lado.

The strand with beads we pass it through the last bead of the opposite strand and viseveraa. In this way a circumference is formed around the white crystal.

La hebra con mostacillas la pasamos por la última mostacilla de la hebra contraria y viseveraa. De esta manera se forma una circunferencia alrededor del cristal blanco.

Then we pass an aquamarine green crystal and adjust the stones we have previously placed. In this way we repeat the design pattern until we complete five flowers. We tie very well and cut two of the nylon strands to keep only two.

Luego pasamos un cristal verde aguamarina y ajustamos las piedras que hemos colocado anteriormente. Así repetimos el patrón de diseño hasta completar cinco flores. Amarramos muy bien y cortamos dos de las hebras de nylon para quedarnos solo con dos.

We place three 3mm balls on two more strands and tie them to a piece of chain that completes the size of the chain on the opposite side. We open a link and place a parrot beak hook. Now we have this beautiful necklace ready.

Colocamos 3 balines de 3mm en más dos hebras y lo amarramos a un trozo de cadena que completé el tamaño de la cadena del lado opuesto. Abrimos un eslabón y colocamos un gancho pico de loro. Ya tenemos listo este hermoso collar.

It turned out to be an eye-catching necklace, maybe a bit beyond my style, but we don't always have to think only about ourselves when we work on an accessory, but about the tastes of the person who needs it. I hope it will be to Rich's mom's liking, who by the way is a beautiful lady with a beautiful personality and I think it will suit her very well. I keep hoping that with God's favor all goes well with my husband and as soon as possible so that he can feel comfortable and enjoy playing with my children again without fear of getting hurt.
