I've been wanting to make a bracelet for my husband and I took inspiration from a Rey dige that I saw in the store where I buy materials to create my accessories. I had already seen several of these designs on men, but whenever I do something that has to do with diges, I always research what meaning they have, because I would not like to use something or my husband to use something that has some meaning with which we do not identify.

He querido hacerle una pulsera a mi esposo y tomé inspiración con un dige de Rey qué ví en la tienda donde compro materiales para crear mis accesorios. Ya había visto varios de estos diseños en caballeros, pero siempre que hago algo que tiene que ver con diges, me investigo qué significado tienen, pues no me gustaría usar algo o que mi esposo usara algo que tenga algún significado con el que no nos identifiquemos.

In this sense I resorted to the search engine and found that these bracelets with crowns of King or Queen are for couples where the wearer wants to note that it is sentimentally linked to someone else. It is also known as love bracelet. It is worth mentioning that there are other symbols that mean the same thing, such as the bracelets with the Infinity symbol.

Since the bracelet is quite simple, in terms of bead application, I wanted to take advantage of this post to show you a combined macramé knot that I recently learned and had not used in any of my previous designs. It is a combination of a lark knot with a flat knot that is perfect for men's bracelets as it is a bit thicker and more rustic.

Como la pulsera es bastante simple, en cuanto a la aplicación de cuentas, quise aprovechar esta publicación para mostrarles un nudo macramé combinado que aprendí recientemente y que no había utilizado en ninguna de mis diseños anteriores. Se trata de una combinación de nudo alondra con nudo plano que es perfecto para las pulseras masculinas ya que queda un poco más grueso y rústico.

First we place a double strand of about 35 centimeters for the central strand and at one end a black glass bead. We seal with the lighter.

Primero colocamos un hilo doble de unos 35 centímetros para el hilo central y en un extremo un cuenta de vidrio color negro. Sellamos con el encendedor.

The combined knot is made with two strands of thread and begins with a Josefina knot, yes friends, that's how it is called, and it is that knot that has the shape of infinity, where a U and an inverted U are formed and by passing one of the strands through the center of the other we obtain a kind of infinity symbol ♾️.

In this way we are left with four strands, with the lower strands we make a half lark's knot on both the right and left sides. The way to do it is passing a strand over the central thread and bringing it forward through the hole that is formed. In the same way on the opposite side.

De esta manera nos quedan cuatro hebras, con las de la parte inferior realizamos medio nudo alondra tanto del lado derecho como del izquierdo. When we have the lark knots, it is time to make the flat knot taking the strands that have been left at the top. With those same strands we work the following larks' knots since they are the strands that have been left at the bottom. We will always work in this way; with the knots at the bottom we make the lark knots and with the one at the top we make the flat knots. That is why the flat knot always surrounds the lark knots.

Cuando tenemos los nudos alondra, es hora de hacer el nudo plano tomando las hebras que han quedado en la parte superior. Con esas mismas hebras trabajamos los siguientes nudos alondras ya que son las hebras que han quedado en la parte de abajo. Siempre trabajaremos de esa manera; con los nudos de abajo realizamos los nudos alondra y con el que nos queda arriba los nudos planos. Es por eso que el nudo plano siempre rodea los nudos alondra.

Prior to this I had already organized the way I would place the stones and although I had several to include them, at the time of designing, I discarded them and kept only a few. The order is as follows; two black glass beads, a golden ball, two black neoprene beads, a golden ring, a 5mm amber Murano, a ring again and a 3mm blue Murano with gold and the corano dige. The order of the beads is repeated but in the opposite direction.

Previo a esto ya tenía organizada la manera en que colocaría las piedras y aunque tenía varias para incluirlas, al momento de diseñar, las descarté y me quedé solo con algunas. El orden es el siguiente; dos cuentas de vidrio color negro, un balín dorado, dos cuentas de neopreno negras, una argolla dorada, un Murano de 5mm color ámbar, una argolla nuevamente y un Murano de 3mm color azul con dorado y el dige de corano. Se repite el orden de las cuentas pero en sentido contrario.

When we reach the end we turn the bracelet over and start weaving again the weave of combined knots from top to bottom, just as we started the bracelet so that the knots are in the same order. I placed a small four-leaf clover dige 🍀 silver color and the clasp with flat knots. Also the respective black glass bead to finish off the ends.

Al llegar al final damos vuelta a la pulsera y comenzamos a tejer nuevamente el entramado de nudos combinados de arriba hacia abajo, tal como empezamos la pulsera para que los nudos queden en el mismo orden. Coloqué un pequeño dige de trébol de cuatro hojas 🍀 color plata y el cierre con nudos planos. También la respectiva cuenta de vidrio negro para rematar las puntas.

I will give this bracelet to my husband. It is made with a lot of love and so I will put another brand on it since he lost his wedding ring the first year we were married and we have not bought another one. Mine was stolen once when my house was broken into. We have been married for 15 years now, maybe it is time to renew vows and buy new rings. Esta pulsera se la daré a mi esposo. Está hecha con mucho amor y así le pondré otra marca ya que perdió su anillo de bodas el primer año de casados y no hemos comprado otro. El mío me lo robaron una vez que asaltaron mi casa. Ya cumplimos 15 años de casados, quizás sea tiempo de renovar votos y así comprar nuevos anillos.
