Aros de colores 🌈 para lucir en carnaval.

Colored hoops 🌈 to show off at carnival.

Aprovechando la inspiración tomé los retazos de hilos que tenía en mi cesta 🧺 y empecé a tejer aros. Esta idea surgió luego de navegar por la web buscando algún diseño que pudiera inspirarme para crear algo con los materiales que tenía a la mano y que por supuesto fuera tejido 🧶 Me encantó ver un elegante y muy colorido collar elaborado con colitas de colores o bandas elásticas de las que usamos en el cabello. A pesar de que tengo de esas colitas preferí sacar un modelo tejido y a partir de allí empecé a crear. Aquí les muestro cómo lo hice y la lista de materiales que usé.

Taking advantage of the inspiration I took the scraps of yarn I had in my basket 🧺 and started weaving earrings. This idea came up after surfing the web looking for some design that could inspire me to create something with the materials I had at hand and that of course was woven 🧶 I was delighted to see an elegant and very colorful necklace made with colorful pigtails or elastic bands of the ones we use in our hair. Even though I have some of those tails I preferred to pull out a woven model and from there I started to create. Here I show you how I made it and the list of materials I used.

🎭 Procedimiento. Procedure.

Lo primero que realicé fueron los aros tejidos. Decidí desde un principio que serían de variados colores 🌈 y bastante grandes 😄 exhuberantes para que llamen bastante la atención.

• Tomé el hilo y lo enrollé por tres dedos de mi mano, realizando tres vueltas completas. Luego tomé el ganchillo para fijar el hilo con un PUNTO BAJO. Inmediatamente tejí 30 puntos bajos envolviendo todo el aro. La cantidad de puntos bajos que tejí fue suficiente para cubrirlo completamente. Si deseas hacerlo es posible que dependiendo de como tejas necesites hacer más puntos o menos. Al finalizar los 30 puntos cerré la vuelta con 1 PUNTO DESLIZADO.
• Inicié una segunda vuelta levantando 1 CADENA y enseguida 30 puntos bajos nuevamente envolviendo los puntos bajos de la vuelta anterior. Esto lo hice para dar firmeza al aro y se viera también más grueso el tejido.

The first thing I made were the woven earrings. I decided from the beginning that they would be in a variety of colors 🌈 and quite large 😄 exuberant 😄 so that they would attract enough attention.

• I took the yarn and wound it through three fingers of my hand, making three full wraps. I then took the crochet hook to attach the yarn with a LOW SITCH. I immediately knit 30 low stitches wrapping around the entire hoop. The amount of single crochet I knitted was enough to cover it completely. If you wish to do this you may need to knit more or less stitches depending on how you knit. At the end of the 30 stitches I closed the row with 1 SLIDE SITCH.
• I started a second round by picking up 1 CHAIN and then 30 slip stitches again wrapping the slip stitches from the previous round. I did this to give firmness to the hoop and also to make the knitting look thicker.

🎭 Siguiendo este mismo procedimiento tejí los cuatro primeros aros: dos amarillos y dos anaranjados. Estos serían para armar los aretes.

🎭 Following this same procedure I wove the first four earrings: two yellow and two orange. These would be to assemble the earrings.

🎭 Luego tejí 11 aros más, de variados colores con los que armaría el collar.

🎭 I then wove 11 more earrings, of varied colors with which I would assemble the necklace.

🎭 Teniendo ya tejidos todos los aros procedí a elaborar las dos piezas que componen este juego de accesorios para usar en carnaval. Primero armé los zarcillos.

• Usé dos aros para hacer cada uno, el amarillo y el anaranjado, ambos en la misma posición en los dos zarcillos. Estos los uní con uno de los eslabones de la cadena gruesa.
• Por la parte superior del aro amarillo coloqué una argolla de bisutería y por dentro de la argolla pasé el anzuelo pescador.

🎭 Having already woven all the earrings I proceeded to elaborate the two pieces that make up this set of accessories to use in carnival. First I assembled the tendrils.

• I used two hoops to make each, the yellow and the orange, both in the same position on the two tendrils. These I joined with one of the links of the thick chain.
• At the top of the yellow ring I placed a costume jewelry ring and inside the ring I put the fishhook.

🎭 Con los 11 aros restantes armé el collar. Empecé separando los eslabones de la cadena grande. Organicé los aros para armar el collar tratando de que los colores no se repitieran seguidos. Luego abrí cada eslabón, fui uniendo los aros pasando el eslabón por un punto bajo de un aro y por el que le sigue según el orden.

🎭 With the remaining 11 hoops I assembled the necklace. I started by separating the links of the large chain. I organized the rings to assemble the necklace trying not to repeat the colors in a row. Then I opened each link and joined the hoops by passing the link through a low point of a hoop and through the next one according to the order.

🎭 Al estar todos unidos coloqué un eslabón en los aros de cada extremo. Dentro de ese eslabón coloqué un trozo de cadena pequeña que ya tenía su pasador. Y por el otro extremo otro trozo de cadena con su argolla pequeña. De esta manera queda completado el modelo de collar.

🎭 When they were all joined together I placed a link in the rings at each end. Inside that link I placed a piece of small chain that already had its pin. And at the other end another piece of chain with its small ring. This way the necklace model is completed.

Me gustó mucho elaborar este accesorio porque es muy llamativo. El carnaval se caracteriza por la iluminación de los colores y la alegría que transmiten estos atuendos.
