Hola estimados amigos creadores, espero que estén muy bien. Quiero mostrarles un dije precioso que acabo de realizar. Tenía la intención de hacer un juego completo de dije y aretes, sin embargo solo les voy a mostrar el dije por ahora. No es muy cómodo realizar estas figuras con la masa para moldear que tengo, se quiebra muy rápido y no es nada elástica. A pesar de saber estas características de la masa quise hacer el intento para ver cómo me resultaba el proceso.
Hello dear creator friends, I hope you are very well. I want to show you a beautiful pendant I just made. I had the intention of making a complete set of pendant and earrings, however I am only going to show you the pendant for now. It is not very comfortable to make these figures with the molding dough I have, it breaks very fast and it is not elastic at all. In spite of knowing these characteristics of the dough I wanted to try to see how the process turned out.

- Para empezar este proyecto tomé una porción de masa, la amasé por unos minutos untándome un poquito de aceite en los dedos. Luego realicé con esta porción dos pilares pequeños de 2cm cada uno.
- Coloqué un poquito de pega blanca a los lados de cada pilar y los junté para formar las piernas de Hello Kitty.
- To start this project I took a portion of dough, kneaded it for a few minutes, rubbing a little oil on my fingers. Then I made with this portion two small pillars of 2cm each.
- I put a little white glue on the sides of each pillar and put them together to form Hello Kitty's legs.
- Tomé una porción mucho más pequeña de la masa, la aplané suavemente hasta hacerla delgada, de ½cm de ancho.
- Una vez aplanada la masa definí los extremos para hacer una especie de rectángulo.
- Este rectángulo lo usé para cubrir la parte superior de las dos piernas de Hello Kitty.
- Usando una esteca y pega blanca fijé el rectángulo muy bien.
- I took a much smaller portion of the dough, flattened it gently until it was thin, about ½cm wide.
- Once the dough was flattened I defined the ends to make a sort of rectangle.
- This rectangle I used to cover the top of Hello Kitty's two legs.
- Using a stake and white glue I fixed the rectangle very well.
- Con una porción de masa similar a la que usé para las piernas elaboré la cabeza de Hello Kitty.
- Amasé y di forma hasta obtener más o menos la figura deseada. Como pueden ver se resquebraja muy rápido esta masa.
- Usé otro poquito de masa para realizar las orejas. Para dar forma la manipulación de la masa es importante, ya que solo la acariciamos sin hacer mucha presión.
- Aproveché de hundir un poco el pedacito donde irán las orejas y dejar marcado el espacio para los bigotes.
- Luego de colocar las orejas usé una esteca para unirlas desde los bordes.
- With a portion of dough similar to the one I used for the legs, I made Hello Kitty's head.
- I kneaded and shaped until I got more or less the desired shape. As you can see this dough cracks very quickly.
- I used another little bit of dough to make the ears. To give shape the manipulation of the dough is important, since we only caress it without doing much pressure.
- I took the opportunity to sink a little bit where the ears will go and leave the space for the whiskers.
- After placing the ears I used a peg to join them from the edges.
- Con pega blanca uní la cabeza al cuerpo.
- Tomé el alfiler de bisutería, tomé la medida, realicé el aro con ayuda de las pinzas.
- En el alfiler coloqué pega y luego lo hundí en la parte de arriba de la cabeza asegurándome de dejar el aro o argolla de un lado por donde pasará la cadena.
- Después pinté con una capa de pintura al frío color blanco y vinil dorado donde corresponde según la foto que usé de guía.
- Dejé secar.
- With white glue I attached the head to the body.
- I took the costume jewelry pin, took the measurement, made the ring with the help of the tweezers.
- On the pin I put glue and then I sunk it into the top of the head, making sure to leave the ring on one side where the chain will go through.
- Then I painted with a coat of white cold paint and gold vinyl where it corresponds according to the photo I used as a guide.
- I let it dry.
- Con una porción pequeña de masa previamente amasada, realicé los dos brazos. Di forma de pilares y luego los aplané. En uno de sus extremos hice un pequeño corte para simular sus dedos.
- Con el otro poquito de masa formé un rectángulo de 1cm de ancho muy aplanado, con este material cubrí medio pilar o bracito envolviéndolo y fijándolo con pega.
- Siguiendo este mismo procedimiento elaboré un lacito.
- Con una porción de masa pequeña realicé una figura de manzana. Siempre moldeando con los dedos suavemente.
- A la manzana le hice un tallo y una hoja, ambas las fijé con pega blanca.
- With a small portion of previously kneaded dough, I made the two arms. I shaped them into pillars and then flattened them. At one end I made a small cut to simulate their fingers.
- With the other little bit of dough I formed a rectangle of 1cm wide very flattened, with this material I covered half pillar or little arm wrapping it and fixing it with glue.
- Following this same procedure I made a little bow.
- With a small portion of dough I made an apple shape. Always molding it gently with my fingers.
- To the apple I made a stem and a leaf, both fixed with white glue.
- Estando secas las piezas procedí a pintar nuevamente, hice varias capas entre secado y secado hasta lograr el tono deseado.
- Once the pieces were dry I proceeded to paint again, I did several coats between drying and drying until the desired tone was achieved.
- Por último pegué todas las piezas y dejé secar. Corregí algunas imperfecciones y listo. Ya se puede usar como dije este bello diseño de Hello Kitty.
- Finally I glued all the pieces together and let them dry. I corrected some imperfections and that's it. Now you can use as I said this beautiful Hello Kitty design.
- Para usar el dije hice un collar con hilo chino color dorado. Primero pasé el dije por el hilo.
- Luego coloqué en uno de los extremos del hilo un esconde nudos, un escalachín y una argolla. En el otro extremo un esconde nudos, un escalachín, una argolla y un seguro pico e'loro.
- Me gusta como se ve. Espero poder hacer los aretes cuando tenga una masa en mejores condiciones.
- To use the pendant I made a necklace with gold colored Chinese thread. First I passed the pendant through the thread.
- Then I placed on one end of the thread a knot hider, a scalachin and a ring. On the other end a knot hider, a scalachin, a ring and a parrot's beak lock.
- I like the way it looks. I hope to be able to make the earrings when I have a dough in better condition.
