Estaba organizando unas cuentas que me regalaron y en medio de la labor decidí hacer unas pulseras con cristales y charoskys. Una vez pasé por una tienda y tenía en descuento los cristales pequeños, creo que son de 4mm, compré varias cadenas y no he usado mucho de esos. También he ido guardando los falsos charoskys y son casi del mismo tamaño, entonces los saqué para hacer un diseño de pulsera con ellos. Espero que les gusten.
I was organizing some beads that I had been given, and while I was doing that, I decided to make some bracelets with crystals and charoskys. Once I went to a store and they had small crystals on sale, I think they are 4mm, I bought several chains and I haven't used many of them. I have also been saving the fake charoskys and they are almost the same size, so I took them out to make a bracelet design with them. I hope you like them.
La verdad es que hacer pulseras me gusta y me entretiene mucho, reconozco que no soy buena para hacerlas puesto que me cuesta muchísimo memorizar los pasos. Por ello siempre trato de hacer diseños sencillos con acabado bonito, sé y siempre les digo que en lo sencillo también hay belleza.
Para hacer estas pulseras usé cuentas de swuarosky y cristales de 4mm. Hilo nylon elástico delgado. Aguja de coser. Perlas. Balines dorados. Tijeras. Cinta métrica.
The truth is that I enjoy making bracelets and find it very entertaining, but I admit that I'm not very good at it because I have a hard time memorizing the steps. That's why I always try to make simple designs with a nice finish. I know and always tell them that there is beauty in simplicity.
To make these bracelets, I used Swarovski beads and 4mm crystals. Thin elastic nylon thread. Sewing needle. Pearls. Gold beads. Scissors. Measuring tape.
Fíjense que el diseño es sumamente fácil. Lo más importante es contar el número de cuentas necesarias para rellenar el hilo. Estas son pulseras pequeñas. Usé entre 36 y 40 cristales. Una perla. Dos balines. Se pueden combinar los colores a tu gusto.
Cortas el naylon de unos 30 cm aproximadamente, mejor que sobre y no que falte. Y comienzas a pasar el hilo por las cuentas calculando que la perla y los balones queden ubicados en el medio de diseño.

Cut the nylon to approximately 30 cm, better to have too much than too little. And start threading the beads, making sure that the pearl and the beads are located in the middle of the design.
Una vez completado el diseño hacemos el cierre de la pulsera simplemente haciendo nudos. No soy nada experta en esto, pero trato de que el nudo no se deshaga. Nunca he podido esconderlo así que así quedó. Espero que el nudo no sea molesto para mi nieta.
He visto tutoriales por montón para que ese nudo quede escondido, sin embargo no me sale. Lo seguiré practicando.
Once the design is complete, we close the bracelet by simply tying knots. I'm no expert at this, but I try to make sure the knot doesn't come undone. I've never been able to hide it, so that's how it stayed. I hope the knot doesn't bother my granddaughter.
I've seen lots of tutorials on how to hide the knot, but I can't seem to get it right. I'll keep practicing.
Con las cuentas de swuarosky hice los mismos pasos. Es muy notoria la diferencia porque son cuentas falsas, no tienen mucho brillo y son de colores, aunque transparentes. Lucen muy bonitas, pero nada que ver con la belleza de los cristales.
Espero que les haya gustado este diseño y que se animen a hacerlos. Me pasa que tengo material y no hallo modelos bonitos qué hacer con ellos, por eso me inclino siempre por lo más básico para poder usar ese material sin salir a comprar. Yo no vendo bisutería por lo que no puedo hacer gastos en eso con frecuencia.
I followed the same steps with the Swarovski beads. The difference is very noticeable because they are fake beads, they don't have much shine and they are colored, although transparent. They look very pretty, but nothing like the beauty of crystals.
I hope you liked this design and that you feel inspired to make them. I often find myself with materials and no ideas for what to do with them, so I always go for the most basic designs so I can use those materials without having to go out and buy more.
