We continue with Christmas crafts on my blog. Today, I'm sharing a charm for a multipurpose necklace that can be turned into a decorative pendant for any space or used to decorate the Christmas tree. It features a 2D angel made using the quilling technique.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱
Y seguimos en mi blog con trabajos navideños, para hoy les dejo un dije para collar multiuso ya que lo podemos convertir en colgante decorativo para cualquier espacio o para adornar el árbol de navidad, de un angelito en 2D en la técnica de quilling.
Esperando que sea de su agrado, les dejo mi proceso creativo:

• Cintas para quilling.
• Aguja para quilling.
• Cartulinas.
• Guillotina de cortar papel.
• Pega blanca extra fuerte (de carpintería).
• Pintura al frío metalizada color perla.
• Pintura al frío metalizada color oro.
• Mandril para moldear círculos.
• Argolla de bisutería.
• Pincel.
• Tijera.
• Naylon transparente o collar de tu preferencia.
• Quilling strips.
• Quilling needle.
• Cardstock.
• Paper cutter.
• Extra-strong white glue (carpentry glue).
• Pearl-colored metallic cold paint.
• Gold-colored metallic cold paint.
• Mandrel for shaping circles.
• Jewelry ring.
• Paintbrush.
• Scissors.
• Clear nylon or necklace of your choice.
• Start by taking a 4mm wide white quilling strip. Using the needle, roll it up until you reach the end. Add a jewelry ring, remove it from the needle, loosen it slightly, and seal it with extra-strong white glue to create a semi-open circle. This will be the angel's head.
• Using the same method as above, make two open circles and shape them into slightly slanted teardrops. Glue them together to form the wings and attach them under the angel's head.
• Now make three open white circles slightly larger than the previous ones. Shape them by folding the circle and gluing the two ends together.
• Comenzamos tomando cinta para quilling de color blanco de 4mm de ancho, con la aguja enrollaremos hasta llegar al final de la misma, incorporamos una argolla de bisutería, sacamos de la aguja soltamos un poco, sellamos con pega blanca extra fuerte para conseguir un círculo semi abierto. Esta será la cabeza del ángel.
• Bajo los mismos parámetros anteriores, realizaremos dos círculos abiertos estos los moldearemos en forma de gotas un tanto inclinadas, pegamos ambas para formar las alas, estás las pegamos debajo de la cabeza del ángel.
• Ahora procedemos a realizar 3 círculos abiertos de color blanco un poco más grandes que los anteriores, estos los moldearemos doblando el círculo y pegando sus dos puntas.

• Join the three molded pieces to form the lower part of the body, gluing them under the wings.
• To make a small halo, use a mandrel to mold circles. On the third measurement from top to bottom, roll up a white ribbon. When finished, seal with extra-strong white glue and remove from the mandrel.
• We will color the pieces by applying pearl-colored paint to the wings and gold-colored paint to the body and halo.
• We will place the halo on the angel's head and decorate it by placing various costume jewelry crystals on different parts of the angel, as you can see in the image.
You can add a necklace of your choice, or if you want to use it to decorate the Christmas tree, you can attach a piece of clear nylon or thread in the color of your choice. In my case, I added a necklace.
This completes this 2D Christmas angel using the quilling technique.
• Uniremos las tres piezas moldeadas para formar la parte de abajo del cuerpo, pegamos debajo de las alas.
• Para hacer una pequeña aureola tomaremos un mandril para moldear círculos, en la tercera medida de arriba hacia abajo enrollamos una cinta blanca, al terminar sellamos con pega blanca extra fuerte, sacamos del mandril.
• Le daremos color a las piezas aplicando pintura color perlada a las alas, al cuerpo y la aureola aplicaremos pintura color oro.
• Colocamos la aureola en la cabeza del ángel, y decoramos colocando diversos cristales de bisutería en distintas partes del ángel, tal y como pueden ver en la imagen.
Podemos colocar el collar de nuestra preferencia, o si queremos usarlo para decorar el árbol de navidad, podemos colocarle un trozo de naylon transparente o hilo del color que deseen, en mi caso le coloque un collar.
De esta manera finalice este angelito de navidad en 2D, en la técnica de quilling.
