My first attempt in making a simple earring for myself ❤️

If you'd ask me how i am, I'd say I'm so excited.

So Today i made this earing for myself during my free time.

I've been so busy lately to even create something for myself but luckily for me the NLC declared a strike and all government workers ,government schools and federal institutions in my country were home and as a result of that , my school which is a federal university was involved in the strike a guess what,?? I was home and resting..

I had a very long nap and when i was tired of resting i decided to get busy with my hands. It dawned on me that i have never made a earring with beads so i decided to give it a try with making something simple for a start.

These were the materials i used :

• blue sea beads
• white sea beads
• earring hook
• jump ring
• fishing line
• scissors
• beading needle

These are the steps i used :
Firstly i cut my fishing line and inserted my needle into it.

After that, i arranged 12 beads containing 8 white beads and 4 green beads

I then inserted them all into my fishing line, accordingly. One green bead and two white beads respectively till i completed the 12 beads i selected.

I tied it twice to make it really firm and then it created a circle like shape

After that, i picked 3 white beads into my fishing line through the needle

I skipped one white bead , and then inserted my needle in the next white bead and a green bead

I tied it firmly and it gave me a triangular shape.

Again i picked three white beads,

I skipped the next white bead and then inserted it in the next white and green bead and tied it properly to create the second triangular shape

I repeated the same step by inserting 3 white beads and going through the white and green beads to create the third triangular shape

And the same for the last triangle and tied it properly

When i got to this step, i was a bit relieved that i could at least try and the second earring won't be difficult since i have done the first successful

The next thing i did was to insert my earring hook using the space in the jump ring as a guidance to insert it into the fishing line.

Luck found me and the two earrings were ready

I think i tried for a first try and i hope to do better in my next try
