The necklace beautifully evokes this special day and is completely crocheted with the ruffle stitch. It's simple, and one of the things I like the most about knitting, is to see how quickly it progresses, the thing is that I get a little anxious to see the results quickly and if you are like me, the work of this necklace is perfect for you.

El collar evoca maravillosamente este día especial y está hecho completamente a crochet con el punto para hacer rufles. Es sencillo, y una de las cosas que más me gusta al tejer, es ver cómo se avanza rápidamente, el asunto es que me pongo un poco ansiosa por ver los resultados rápido y si eres como yo, la labor de este collar es perfecto para ti.

The first thing we are going to make is a chain. In this case, we need to make 3 rufles of different sizes. One with 250 chain stitches, the next with 200 chain stitches and a third with 150 stitches. The size differences are necessary so that when we assemble the necklace, the pieces do not overlap and everything will look more harmonious and elegant.

Lo primero que vamos a realizar es una cadena. En este caso, necesitamos realizar 3 rufles de diferentes tamaños. Uno con 250 puntos de cadena, el siguiente con 200 puntos de cadena y un tercero con 150 puntos. Las diferencias de tamaños son necesarias para que al armar el collar, las piezas no queden superpuestas y se verá todo más armónico y elegante.

When we have the first chain of stitches ready, we add two additional stitches and in the third stitch, counting in reverse, we pick up a double crochet. In the next stitch, we knit two double crochet stitches in each stitch and so we go all the way through the chain until the end. The knitting will naturally take on a very attractive rolled shape. We make the other two pieces.

Cuando tenemos lista la primera cadena de puntos, añadimos dos puntos adicionales y en el tercer punto, contando en reversa, levantamos un punto alto. En el siguiente punto tejemos dos puntos altos en cada punto y así avanzamos a todo lo largo de la cadena hasta el final. El tejido naturalmente irá tomando una forma enrollada muy atractiva. Realizamos las otras dos piezas.

With the base of the necklace woven, we are going to place at each end, a ring of at least 6mm, and then a ring where we crimp the three previous ones. We place one more ring to work the pendants of the necklace, which in this particular case I made with rag. A silver chain would also be perfect, but I didn't have any, and the idea is that we can come up with something that will help us solve the immediate problem, without having to spend more. We attached the hook and walked around in a neat way.

Con la base del collar tejido, vamos a colocar en cada extremo, una argolla de 6mm como mínimo, y luego una argolla donde engarzamos las tres anteriores. Colocamos una argolla más para trabajar los colgantes del collar que para este caso en particular los hice con trapillo. También quedaría perfecta una cadena plateada, pero no contaba con ninguna, y la idea que podamos ingeniar algo que nos ayude a resolver el problema inmediato, sin tener que gastar más. Colamos el gancho y andamos de forma prolija.

This necklace looks so feminine. The colors are romantic and it screams out loud, Happy International Women's Day.
