Hoy quiero compartirles una tarea creativa que decidí hacer para obsequiárselo a mi hermano para el día del amor y la amistad ya que no tuve oportunidad de regalarle nada ese día decidí darle uno tardío pero bien dicen por allí que lo que cuenta es la intención así que decidí regalarle está tobillera de hilo rojo y un ojo turco 🧿 utilizada mayormente para amuleto de protección contra el mal de ojo, malas vibras... aunque él no cree en ese tipo de cosas aún así decidí darle este lindo pero significativo presente para agradecerle todo lo que el ha hecho por mi y para demostrarle lo mucho que lo quiero.
Today I want to share a creative task that I decided to do to give it to my brother for the day of love and friendship since I did not have the opportunity to give him anything that day I decided to give him a late one but they say that what counts is the intention so I decided to give him this red thread anklet and a Turkish eye used mainly as a protection amulet against the evil eye, bad vibes... although he doesn't believe in that kind of thing, I still decided to give him this nice but significant present to thank him for everything what he has done for me and to show him how much I love him.
Aunque soy apenas una principiante en bisutería me fascina mucho elaborar todo tipo de accesorios usarlos y regalarlos a las personas que más me importan ya que no solo se trata de dar un regalo bonito y perfecto sino algo significativo que porte un mensaje importante y le dé un lindo recuerdo por lo que espero les guste esta nueva creación que les comparto el día de hoy.

A continuación les mostraré los materiales que utilice y los pasos a seguir para su elaboración.

Materiales:
- un dije de ojo turco 🧿.
- hilo chino de color rojo.
- dos cuentas negras.
- Tijera y yesquero.
Materials:
- a Turkish eye pendant .
- red Chinese thread.
- two black beads.
- Scissors and tinderbox.

- Para la base de la pulsera use dos hebras de 45 centímetros del hilo chino negro.
Inserte una cuenta negra por un extremo e hice un nudo simple para asegurar.
Dejando después 7 centímetros y hago otro nudo simple. Para después empezar a colocar el hilo tejedor de 70 centímetros para hacer los nudos planos; el cual elegí porque se vería muy bien junto a ese dije.
- For the base of the bracelet, use two 18-inch strands of black Chinese thread.
I inserted a black bead through one end and tied an overhand knot to secure.
Leaving 7 centimeters later and I make another simple knot. To then begin to place the 70-centimeter weaving thread to make the flat knots; which I chose because it would look great next to that pendant.
- Sujeto bien el hilo, verificando que estén iguales de ambos lados antes de empezar a tejer los nudos planos.
Comenzando con el hilo derecho pasándolo por encima delo hilos centrales y el hilo izquierdo lo paso por debajo de lo hilos y lo saco por dentro del orificio que se forma y después los voy ajustando y llevándolo cerca del nudo simple.
Así voy tejiendo alternando los hilos; es decir si comienzo con el hilo derecho, luego el izquierdo. Y muy atenta para que salga bien el tejido ☺️.
- I hold the thread well, checking that they are equal on both sides before starting to weave the flat knots.
Starting with the right thread passing it over the central threads and the left thread I pass it under the threads and take it out inside the hole that is formed and then I adjust them and bring it close to the simple knot.
This is how I weave alternating the threads; that is, if I start with the right thread, then the left. And very attentive so that the fabric comes out well ☺️.
- Sigo Tejiendo hasta el largo deseado cortando y sellando los hilos sobrantes, para después introducir por los hilos base el dije de ojo turco 🧿.
- I continue knitting until the desired length, cutting and sealing the excess threads, and then introducing the Turkish eye pendant through the base threads .
- Después coloco el otro hilo tejedor y lo ajusto cerca del dije y comiendo el mismo procedimiento para tejer el nudo plano, del mismo largo que el otro extremo.
- Then I place the other weaving thread and adjust it near the pendant and using the same procedure to weave the flat knot, the same length as the other end.
- Coloco la otra cuenta negra en la punta, corto y sello los hilos sobrantes.
Y para finalizar con una hebra de unos 15 centímetros le hago un nudo corredizo para el cierre de unos nudos planos.

And to finish with a thread of about 15 centimeters I make a sliding knot to close some flat knots.
