Greetings, beautiful jewelry-creating community, may your day begin with happy and positive thoughts, believing in God's will that everything you need will come at some point...! I am happy to have the opportunity, to be able to share with you, a new to accessory content.
This time the protagonist who inspired me to make this cute accessory is a princess who will soon come to our family and I spent a whole week excited creating things for her, bringing memories to my mind when I found out I was having a girl. Today it is quite common to see girls from a very young age using large bows, and it is that, undoubtedly, they make them look beautiful, that tenderness that a baby has in its first months of life certainly falls in love and everything they wear makes them look more adorable.
The objective was to complement a dress that I had already made, something comfortable but above all very soft that the baby could wear on the day she left the health center, that's why I resorted to a complement so beautiful as the headbands that we can also make easily, they are spectacular and very comfortable for the baby's head. So if you like the idea, I invite you to follow me to the end of each step and learn with me how to do it.
It is important to emphasize or inform you, before starting the procedure, that all the fabric or material that you decide to use for this project, be something light, a soft, flexible fabric, preferably cotton, since Babies should not carry any weight on their head, use material that is not too tight, whatever you choose, make sure it is not too tight as you could harm the baby. This headband, although large as it looks, is made of flexible fabric and subtle "Peach skin" for the base and for the butterfly appliqué I used an extremely soft and light fabric that was the same with which I made her little dress. Now, without further ado, let's begin...!!!

(PROCEDURE)
Paso 01
Step 01
The average measurements of a newborn baby's head are commonly 30 to 35cm, so we take a piece of fabric with these measurements approximately. We cut a strip with this length and a width of 8cm. We fold in half and make a straight seam with its finish on the edges (we will do this with the fabric turned upside down). Then we turn around, placing this seam in the center.
Paso 02
Step 02
Once this is done, we will put both ends one over the other, and sew so that we have a cross between them. This is optional as you can simply join both ends.
Paso 03
Step 03
We continue with the application of this cute accessory, it is a pretty butterfly. I take a piece of cloth and cut a rectangular shape, fold it horizontally and cut both corners leaving a curved shape.
Paso 04
Step 04
I repeat the step to have multiple pieces of different sizes. Then with a lighter, he burned all the edges and stretched the fabric a little to create waves in the pieces. I place one on top of the other from the largest to the smallest and we wrinkle the center. We do this again and join both wings of the butterfly.
Paso 05
Step 05
With mouse tail thread, we turn twice in the center of the butterfly to hold and make a kind of worm with its antennae. Once we have the appliqué made, we will do it with a seam to the headband.
