El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una nueva creación, y se trata de un brazalete de cristales de swarovski en colores negro y blanco, que es una combinación que a mí me encanta, ya que el negro es de mi colores favoritos tanto para prendas de vestir como para accesorios e incluso para la decoración de mi casa, si se habrán dado cuenta en mis publicaciones. Así que para el día de hoy tenemos un brazalete combinado de cristales de swarovski.

Hello, Hive community! I hope you’re all doing well. Today I’d like to share a new creation with you: a black and white Swarovski crystal bracelet. It’s a combination I absolutely love, as black is one of my favourite colours – whether for clothes, accessories or even my home décor, as you may have noticed in my posts. So, today we have a mixed Swarovski crystal bracelet.

Este, aunque es un brazalete bastante sencillo de elaborar, es un poquito tedioso porque está compuesto de muchas piezas diferentes, además, trabajamos conectando las piezas entre sí utilizando una argolla y esto hace que el trabajo se demore un poco, pero lo probé ayer y me gustó bastante así que decidí utilizarlo para el brazalete del día de hoy, así que sin más vamos con los materiales y el paso a paso.

Although this bracelet is fairly simple to make, it is a bit tedious because it’s made up of lots of different pieces. What’s more, we’re connecting the pieces together using a jump ring, which slows the process down a bit. However, I tried it out yesterday and really liked it, so I decided to use it for today’s bracelet. So, without further ado, let’s get on with the materials and the step-by-step guide.

Paso a paso/Step by step

Para la elaboración de este brazalete vamos crear 4 piezas diferentes que vamos a unir utilizando una argolla pequeña, en lugar de contectar directamente a los "ojitos" del alfiler, y vamos a iniciar con la pieza central que está formada por 2 cristales de sorozki blancos, de tamaño mediano y un balín.

Y lo que vamos a hacer es tomar un alfiler de ojo, pasar un cristal seguido de un balín, nuevamente introducimos un cristal y cortamos el excedente del alfiler de ojo, dejando aproximadamente 1 centímetro o poco menos de 1 centímetro para crear nuestro ojito en ese extremo, ya que vamos a conectar piezas, así que lo que haremos es tomar la pinza redonda, colocarla en el extremo del alfiler de ojo y doblamos hacia adentro para crear nuestro aro.

De esta forma está lista la pieza central de nuestra pulsera.

To make this bracelet, we’re going to create four different sections which we’ll join together using a small jump ring, rather than connecting them directly to the “eyelets” of the pin, and we’ll start with the central section, which consists of two medium-sized white sorozki beads and a seed bead.

What we’re going to do is take an eye pin, thread on a bead followed by a seed bead, then thread on another bead and cut off the excess eye pin, leaving approximately 1 centimetre or just under 1 centimetre to create our little loop at that end, as we’re going to connect the pieces, so what we’ll do is take the round crimp bead, place it on the end of the eye pin and bend it inwards to create our loop.

And there you have it: the centrepiece of our bracelet is ready.

La siguiente pieza que vamos a crear está compuesta únicamente por tres cristales de swarovski de color negro y, al igual que en el paso anterior, simplemente vamos a hacer pasar nuestras piezas de cristales por el alfiler de ojo y cerraremos de la misma manera que lo hicimos anteriormente, y de esta pieza vamos a crear solamente dos.

The next piece we are going to make consists of just three black Swarovski crystals and, as in the previous step, we will simply thread the crystals onto the eye pin and fasten them in the same way as before; we will make just two of these pieces.

La siguiente pieza que vamos a elaborar esta formada por dos cristales de swarovski de color blanco y lo que haremos es repetir el mismo procedimiento de arriba pasar los dos cristales de swarovski cortar el excedente del alfiler de ojo y cerrar con la pinza redonda. Y de esta pieza también vamos a crear solamente dos.

The next piece we’re going to make consists of two white Swarovski crystals. We’ll follow the same procedure as above: thread the two Swarovski crystals onto the pin, trim off the excess eye pin, and secure it with the round-nose pliers. We’ll also make just two of these pieces.

Para nuestra última pieza vamos a utilizar cristales de swarovski, blancos y negros y vamos a realizar 2 piezas de cada color, y cada una va a estar formada por un balín, un cristal, y otro balín, entonces, lo que hacemos es repetir el procedimiento que ya hemos hecho: pasamos por el alfiler de ojo un balín, el cristal, otro balín y cortamos el excedente para finalmente cerrarlo con la pinza redonda.

De esta pieza vamos a crear 2 de color negro y 2 de color blanco, y con esto tenemos todo lo que necesitamos para comenzar a ensamblar.

For our final piece, we’re going to use black and white Swarovski crystals, making two pieces of each colour. Each piece will consist of a bead, a crystal and another bead. So, we simply repeat the procedure we’ve already followed: thread a bead, the crystal and another bead onto the eye pin, trim off the excess wire, and finally close it with the round-nose pliers.

We’re going to make two black and two white pieces, and with that we have everything we need to start assembling.

Y para comenzar vamos a trabajar con nuestra pieza central, y en cada uno de sus extremos vamos a colocar una argollita, seguidamente, vamos a colocar la pieza con los 3 cristales negros y la conectaremos a la argolla también, y en el otro extremo vamos a colocar nuevamente una argolla, y haremos lo mismo en cada pieza que vamos a unir.

Seguidamente viene la pieza con 2 cristales blancos, y para continuar vamos a conectar la pieza con el cristal negro, y seguidamente, vienen las dos piezs de cristales individuales, uno negro, y uno blanco. Y de esta forma tenemos listo nuestro largo del brazale.

Recuerden que entre cada pieza debe haber un arito.

To begin with, we’ll start with our central piece, and at each end we’ll attach a small ring. Next, we’ll take the piece with the three black crystals and attach it to the ring as well, and at the other end we’ll attach another ring. We’ll do the same for each piece we’re going to join.

Next comes the piece with two white crystals, and to continue, we’ll connect the piece with the black crystal, followed by the two pieces with single crystals—one black and one white. And with that, our bracelet length is ready.

Remember that there must be a ring between each piece.

En este punto ya solo nos queda conectar los cerradores y lo que haremos es que en uno de los extremos del brazalete vamos a conectar una argolla pequeña y del otro extremo haremos lo mismo, solo que en esta haremos pasar también nuestro cerrador de broche, y de esta manera está finalizando nuestro brazalete, que como tiene un diseño muy lindo ya que consta de diferentes piezas que combinan perfectamente bien entre sí y crean un diseño muy dinámico.

At this point, all that remains is to attach the clasps. What we’ll do is attach a small ring to one end of the bracelet and do the same at the other end, except that at this end we’ll also thread through our clasp. And with that, our bracelet is complete; it has a lovely design, consisting of different pieces that complement each other perfectly and create a very dynamic look.

Como pueden ver no es un trabajo complicado, pero sí es un poquito largo por la cantidad de piezas que hay que elaborar, y sobre todo por el proceso de ir conectando el aro, que nos da un poquito más de trabajo por decirlo de alguna manera, pero la verdad es que me parece que es muy bonito.

Por otro lado, a mí este tipo de trabajo me relaja muchísimo, por lo que no me molesta dedicarle tiempo, pero si ustedes en casita quieren trabajar de manera más rápida, pueden obviar la argolla y conectar directamente las piezas por los ojitos que tienen cada una de ellas.

As you can see, it’s not a complicated project, but it does take a bit of time because of the number of pieces involved, and especially because of the process of attaching the ring, which is a bit more work, so to speak, but honestly, I think it looks really lovely.

On the other hand, I find this sort of craftwork really relaxing, so I don’t mind spending time on it, but if you want to work more quickly at home, you can skip the ring and connect the pieces directly using the little loops on each one.
