Hace dos semanas estaba intentando realizar este dije de libélula, pero no me quedo como quería, simplemente la forma en la que había picado las alas y las estaba haciendo no quedaban bien, se veían circulares porque yo estaba utilizando una técnica que es para hacer flores pequeñas.💙⚪
Two weeks ago I was trying to make this dragonfly charm, but it didn't look the way I wanted it to, just the way I had chopped the wings and was making them didn't look right, they looked circular because I was using a technique that is for making small flowers.💙⚪
A veces me frustro demasiado rápido y dejé las cosas así, luego de buscar en internet encontré un vídeo donde justo estaban explicando cómo hacer pétalos 🌺 con tela y era justo lo que necesitaba, entonces luego de vero lo puse en práctica.✨
Sometimes I get frustrated too fast and leave things like that, after searching on the internet I found a video where they just explained how to make petals 🌺 with fabric and it was just what I needed, so after watching it I put it into practice.✨
Estoy feliz con el resultado, a veces las soluciones aparecen cuando menos lo imaginas y eso fue justo lo que me sucedió.✨💡
I am happy with the result, sometimes solutions appear when you least imagine it and that was just what happened to me.✨💡

Empecemos💙
Let's start 💙
1- Primero recorté cuadrados, dos de siete centímetros y medio, dos de cinco centímetros y medio.📐
💙 Doblé el cuadrado a la mitad 📐 y luego doblé ambas esquinas hacia el centro y coloqué un alfiler para sostener.
1- First I cut out squares, two seven and a half centimeter squares, two five and a half centimeter squares.📐 💙 I folded the square in half 📐 and then folded both corners to the center and placed a pin to hold.
2- La pieza doblada queda un poco larga entonces cuidadosamente con una tijera ✂️ corté poco a poco para que fuese más fácil de acomodar.💙
2- The folded piece remains a bit long then carefully with a scissors ✂️ I cut it little by little to make it easier to accommodate.💙
3- Después de haber cortado el resto de las piezas, las pegue por detrás con silicón. 💙Luego de que se secó, corté un pedacito de cartón y le hice un agujero con un alfiler para meter el alambre y pegué las alas.✨
3- After I cut the rest of the pieces, I glued them on the back with silicone. 💙After it dried, I cut a little piece of cardboard and made a hole in it with a pin to put the wire through and glued the wings.✨
4- Pegué algunos pedacitos de tela detrás para tapar el silicón. En el alambre introduje las perlas y el swarovski de la forma que más me gustó.✨
4- I glued some pieces of fabric behind to cover the silicone. On the wire I inserted the pearls and the swarovski in the way I liked ✨.
5- Introduje el alambre por el agujero que hice con el alfiler y luego puse otra piedra que sería la cabeza de la libélula.
Luego lo puse en un collar de perlas y swarovski que había hecho anteriormente.✨💙
5- I inserted the wire through the hole I made with the pin and then put another stone which would be the head of the dragonfly. Then I put it on a pearl and swarovski necklace I had made earlier.✨💙

Espero te haya gustado este dije de libélula, la verdad no se necesita mucha tela para realizarlo, solo fue un pedacito que sobró de un top que mi mamá me había hecho hace algunos meses para el cumpleaños de mi hermana menor.💙 Le hicimos una linda fiesta de princesas y mi mamá quería que estuviéramos combinados.💙
I hope you liked this dragonfly charm, you really don't need much fabric to make it, it was just a little piece left over from a top my mom had made me a few months ago for my younger sister's birthday.💙 We threw her a cute princess party and my mom wanted us to be matched.💙

Quiero aprovechar este espacio también para recordar que a veces las cosas no quedan bien al primer intento, yo soy un persona muy impaciente a veces y me estreso mucho, pero aprendí a no estancarme en una sola cosa cuando no puedo avanzar, simplemente continuo con algo diferente hasta que mi mente está abierta a nuevas ideas.💙✨
I want to take this space also to remember that sometimes things don't turn out right at the first try, I am a very impatient person sometimes and I stress a lot, but I learned not to get stuck on one thing when I can't move forward, I just continue with something different until my mind is open to new ideas.💙✨💙
