¡Hola mis amigos de diyhub!.😊
Hello my diyhub friends!.😊
Once again I have the pleasure of greeting you and wishing you a happy Saturday! I hope you are well and resting in the comfort of your home. On this beautiful day I bring you a project that everyone will like. It is about making a nice multipurpose bag, made with material from an old school backpack. Maybe everyone throws away these bags because they no longer need them and have bought a new one. Today I show you how to reuse this material, if it is still in good condition like this one that I will use for my project today. If you like the idea, you can accompany me to the end.
Materiales.
- Material del bolso, parte delantera, parte trasera, cubre costura, tela interna y cremallera.
- Hilo y aguja.
- Regla.
- Lápiz.
- Tijera.
Materials.
- Bag material, front, back, seam cover, taffeta fabric lining and closure.
- Thread and needle.
- Ruler.
- Pencil.
- Scissors.
We start with the tutorial, I have cut out the necessary parts to make my bag, here you can see the material. Cut out the front part, which is the lively part, and the back part, together with the taffeta fabric and polyester filling.
Paso 1.
Step 1.
We are going to take the back part of the old bag, cut it into a rectangular shape of 10cm x 27cm. We also cut out a couple of 9cm x 27cm rectangles, go down 1 0 2cm in each corner and mark in a round shape so that they are arched. Note: the front and rear pieces will have the same measurements.
Paso 2.
Step 2.
Let's sew! We join the front and back to the base, leaving it in the center. Let's remember to put everything together including the filling and the taffeta lining fabric.
Paso 3.
Step 3.
Next we place the seam cover and sew. In this way, a very beautiful interior will be left without those details that are often unpleasant.
Paso 4.
Step 4.
Now we continue with the closure. We are going to cut out a couple of ribbons from the same material, we also cut out a couple of the taffeta lining fabric. Between the slats and the closure, they must have the same width as the rectangle in total. These are 3cm x 30cm, the zipper is 3cm too. We place the closure on one of the strips, then we place the lining fabric and sew, we also sew the other strip to the closure.
Paso 5.
Step 5.
Here you can see that I have finished sewing this zipper to the slats, we make a straight seam on the right side of each slat.
Paso 6.
Step 6.
We are going to attach the closure to the structure of the bag. We pin the ends of the closure on the wide side of the base, it will look like an arch. Now we are going to lift the sides of the bag and join the closure with hems.
Paso 7.
Step 7.
This is what the bag looks like from the inside, I haven't placed the seam cover yet, I just placed some pockets on each side.
Paso 8.
Step 8.
We place the seam cover and sew very well, observe how it looks on the inside when placing the seam cover.
Una vez que hemos terminado de coser, volteamos el bolso y asi es como debe quedar. Para finalizar colocamos unos sujetadores y listo.
Once we have finished sewing, we turn the bag over and this is how it should look. To finish we place some fasteners and that's it.
Friends, this is the final result, a nice bag that you can make at home for the girls, it will be very useful for the girls to carry their crayons, school supplies or simply their personal things to the time to go to school or somewhere else. I hope you like my project.
Friends of diyhub this has been all for today, thank you for allowing me to show you my projects and support each craft. I hope to share a new creative idea with everyone again. It will be until the next opportunity, take care of yourselves, Blessings!♥
