Buenas tardes mis queridos amantes de las manualidades y el reciclaje, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la elaboración de una hermosa corona de navidad trenzada confeccionada con tela y decorada con viejos adornos reciclados.

Good afternoon my dear lovers of crafts and recycling, today I want to share with you how to make a beautiful braided Christmas wreath made of fabric and decorated with old recycled ornaments.

Recorté tres tiras de diferentes colores con 1.50 cm de largo y 25 cm de ancho.

I cut three strips of different colors with 1.50 cm long and 25 cm wide.

Las cosí en la orilla por el lado reverso de la tela.

I sewed them on the edge on the wrong side of the fabric.

Las volteé con un pincel.

I flipped them over with a brush.

Luego las rellené con trapos viejos.

Then I stuffed them with old rags.

A una de las tiras le coloqué un alambre doblado en ambas puntas para no puyarme con él.

To one of the strips I placed a bent wire at both ends so as not to poke myself with it.

Las tres puntas se ataron con hilo pabilo y procedí a trenzar las tres tiras en forma de clineja.

The three ends were tied with wick thread and I proceeded to braid the three strips in the shape of a clineja.

Luego le di forma redonda gracias al alambre, y uní las puntas con hilo pabilo ajustándolo bien. Nota: Se pueden coser bien las dos puntas unidas y retirar el pabilo, o dejar el pabilo y taparlo bien con los adornos, que fue lo que yo hice.

Then I gave it a round shape thanks to the wire, and joined the ends with wick thread, adjusting it well. Note: You can sew the two ends together and remove the wick, or leave the wick and cover it well with the decorations, which is what I did.

Finalmente, improvisé varios adornos con partes de adornos viejos que estaban rotos, y los fui colocando en la parte inferior de la corona. Los fijé con silicón caliente.

Finally, I improvised several ornaments with parts of old ornaments that were broken, and I placed them in the lower part of the crown. I fixed them with hot glue.

Ya concluida mi corona, la puse de adorno en la puerta principal de mi casa donde realmente luce hermosa.

Once my crown was finished, I put it as an ornament on the front door of my house where it really looks beautiful.
