The first step in making the flannel shirt was sewing the scraps together, then marking and cutting the pieces: front, back, and three rectangles for the collar and cuffs, all from red rib knit fabric.

Then I placed the pieces right sides together, pinned them at the top, and closed the shoulders with a straight stitch.

The next step was to make the collar and cuffs. This additional stitching gives the piece firmness and makes the sewing process easier when gluing it.

The last step was to sew a hem approximately two centimeters wide at the bottom, for which I used a straight stitch; with these simple steps a beautiful and cool flannel shirt made from leftover fabric is finished.
Para pegar el cuello y los puños los dividí en cuatro partes y los fijé con alfileres, al cuello y mangas; los uní usando puntada estirando desde un punto al otro, luego pasé puntada de zigzag por todo el contorno.
El último paso, fue coser un dobladillo aproximadamente dos centímetros de ancho el ruedo, para ello utilicé puntada recta; con estos sencillos pasos está terminada una hermosa y fresca franelilla con los sobrantes de tela.
