The first step in making this flannel shirt is cutting the pieces: the front, back, and sleeves. Four pieces are cut for the sleeves: two in red and two in patterned fabric. The collar is a strip 31 centimeters long and 8 centimeters wide.
To cut the sleeves, it's important to place the pattern right side out for the first sleeve and wrong side out for the second, ensuring they align with both sides of the flannel.
After cutting the pieces, I placed them right sides together, front and back, pinned them, and closed the shoulders using a straight stitch.

El primer paso para la elaboración de esta franela, es cortar las piezas; delantero, posterior y las mangas, que se cortan cuatro piezas, dos en color rojo y dos en tela estampada, el cuello, que es una cinta de 31 centímetros de largo por 8 centímetros de ancho.
Para cortar las mangas es importante colocar el molde por el derecho y para la siguiente manga se coloca el molde por el revés, de tal forma que coincidan con ambos lados de la franela.
Luego de cortar las piezas enfrenté por el derecho, delantero y posterior fijé con alfileres y cerré los hombros utilizando puntada recta.

El siguiente paso fue emsamblar las mangas, enfrentando los derechos de ambas telas por la parte recta, donde se une al hombro, sujeté con alfileres y cosí.
To attach the sleeves, I placed the right sides of the fabric together, starting at the armhole, pinned them, and sewed with a straight stitch. For added reinforcement, I used a double stitch. Once the sleeves were attached to the flannel, I closed the side seams, starting from the top of the sleeves and working down to the bottom of the flannel. I also used a double stitch here for reinforcement.
Para pegar las mangas, enfrenté las telas por el derecho, iniciando desde la sisa, fijé con alfileres y cosí con puntada recta, para reforzar pasé doble costura. The next step was to make the collar. I placed the ribbon right sides together and joined the ends. The last step was to sew a hem approximately 1.5 centimeters wide. I also used a straight stitch for this. I also sewed a 1-centimeter hem on the sleeves. With these simple steps, a beautiful flannel shirt with a Super Mario design is finished.
Luego dividí el cuello en cuatro partes y lo fijé a la franela con alfileres, utilizando puntada recta lo pegué, estirando desde un punto al otro, así queda uniforme, pues se estira la misma medida en los cuatro tramos.
