Hello Hivers, friends! A big hello to you all tonight. I'm ready to show you how I made a case for my sunglasses using fabric scraps. I had some scraps from my old work overalls, which I've used for many things and still have some pieces left over. So I thought I'd make this creative and recyclable piece to make the most of recycled materials and create something innovative. Let's see the materials I used:
Materiales:||Materials:
- Retazos de tela(yo elegí tela naranja y verde)
- Hilo blanco
- Botón
- Tijeras
- Alfileres
- Un patrón en forma de corazón
- Fabric scraps (I chose orange and green fabric)
- White thread
- Button
- Scissors
- Pins
- A heart-shaped pattern

Following the heart-shaped pattern, I started by marking the shape on the orange fabric and cutting two pieces. Then, on the green fabric, I marked the middle part of the heart, as it will be like a pocket.

Now, sew the pieces together. Pin the pocket piece to one of the heart-shaped pieces, then place the other heart-shaped piece on top and pin it in place. All the pieces should be sewn with the wrong side of the fabric facing out. After sewing, leave an opening unsewn so you can turn the piece right side out.

This is how the case is coming along. Now I'll sew over it to give it more shape, and I'll also sew the part where the button goes.

Now all I had to do was attach the button to finish this easy glasses case project.
